  • Insanely addicted but damned tapjoy

    I’ve developed a sick addiction to this game. Can’t get enough of it and its not only fun but a great stress reliever as well! (Thank you!!) so my issue isn’t with the app but rather tapjoy. Lately diamonds are not being rewarded. I’ve noticed people complaining about this on other game apps that use them as well. I’ve wasted a whole lot of time on surveys and quizzes only to not have them register. I’ve also gotten to required levels on apps and again, no rewards. For those of us who can’t afford to put money into a game, we rely on these bonuses. I don’t know if there is a new glitch or what as previously everything was rewarded properly so I’m hoping it gets fixed soon. The one good thing is that because of the bonuses, I’ve discovered new apps I never would have before so there’s that! LOL

    And not the pillow kind of sham. This app is straight up designed to get your money. If you accept that going in, you won’t be disappointed. I refuse to give them money for a number of reasons. Don’t bother completing offers for diamonds, you’ll never get them. TapJoy won’t pay out. When you vote, try and vote for the room that you liked the best that also followed the guidelines. Also try and think about who created an awesome design with level 1 art work and decor. You don’t get good art work until you reach level 4,5 which I barely managed to do without running out of money and diamonds. The top score rooms are that of people who spent a ton of money (and are in levels of 50+) while not following the guidelines. There are so many improvements the developers could make, which all have been suggested in the reviews, that would still make them money and make the app experience better and more interactive. What gives? Update: I was designing a room and the app crashed. When I reloaded it, I had 800 fewer diamonds and a set of Chevron black white vases. I didn’t buy these and don’t want them. I contacted customer service and they suggested clearing the in game cache. ??? I did knowing that didn’t have anything to do with the issue. I wrote them back and explained the problem again. And no response. That was three days ago.

    There is a bug when you are trying to fulfill a design requirement and you select a design element and the list of items will show owned selected but the item that appears is not owned. This doesn’t happen all the time but often enough to be irritating. When I view my past designs they are not in the order of highest ranking and then scattered throughout those I will find the ones that have not been voted on. It is sort of a mess!

    This is by far my favorite game ever, maybe because it feeds my inner shopping addictions and inner need to own homes I can’t possibly keep as neat as I’ve designed! I give 3🌟 only because this game almost forces you to spend real life money in order to meet the requirements of the room design! The game must be having some glitches because I’ve purchased keys that are not loaded however my diamonds have decreased to match the purchase, I have also noticed that it doesn’t always store your purchases for more than one room design, and also at time furniture doesn’t always load on screen! That’s a problem because the purchases add up, financially! The game should allow more uses and purchase options!

    I enjoy this game but it would be a lot more fun if you awarded more diamonds or allowed us to use money to buy the decor items!

  • Progress randomly disappears

    Spent a lot of money on this game. It was backed up to my facebook and when I switched phones my progress was deleted. I wrote into design home and they told me they couldn’t get my old account back or credit my new one. What a waste of money. Terrible customer service in general. I wrote an email explaining what happened and they wrote back asking me to troubleshoot in a way I had already let them know I tried. I had to refer them back to the email I sent originally and ask them to actually read it this time. This happened several times In our conversation.
  • Twice in a row I’ve lost all my game progress!

    Customer service takes weeks to answer and when they do they never read your actual issue with the game they just send this auto generated message about cleaning your cache. Sorry cleaning my cache will not restore my lvl 22 progress and all the stuff I bought! I am going through Apple to get a refund after I get it I am deleting this app. BUYER BEWARE!

    I love the design options and attention to detail with rooms and But after the last update, it won't load in my ipad. I start to create room and then program dies. I tried to trouble shoot with support, but after telling me to clean my cache - dead silence. Once avid player - but not as interested anymore.
