  • Unethical

DH needs to prove the voting process is equitable. There are too many people who say otherwise. The details of the voting process are vague. They claim all designs receive the same amount of votes but there are other important variables that are not considered or controlled. In order to achieve equality, all variables must be equal. What times of the day are designs shown to voters? What regions of the world are designs shown to? To make certain designs have equal opportunity, all designs must have identical variables other than their actual designs (time of day, frequency, regions of voters, varied levels of voters, etc). It’s unlikely that DH will give a precise and detailed explanation of how they achieve equity in voting as it is doubtful they manage it. More often than not the 2 designs shown to choose between when voting have at least one object in common (same rug, same couch, etc) that is clearly not random. Also when they say that the designs “receive the same amount of votes”, are they including the “=“ votes? - it shouldn’t as those are non-votes. What is unethical is the fact they they charge so much money and then don’t bother to give users a properly level playing field. Not cool.
  • Love/Hate relationship

I absolutely love designing new rooms. I’ve had this game for two years now. My old phone was destroyed and because I didn’t link with social media, everything was lost. (Starting over wasn’t bad). My issue is with the “my home” area. The major reason why I’ve kept playing so long. I’ve reached my Townhouse and suddenly there’s no more design. The next house is underway and it’s been weeks now. I’m bored with just the challenges (I was rewarding myself by decorating My own house). I think it’s unfair that I’ve worked to save my home design points and I’m losing them because I’ve surpassed 50. I think they should continue until you add more rooms. I’m working for them after all.

This game can be expensive and is full of bugs- but it is. You literally have to buy furniture and decor- and then the items you buy disappear when you go to use them. I notified them of this, and they did not answer for days and when they did, offered no solution. If you play, DO NOT BUY!!!

The most fun, awesome, exciting, and invigorating design game, I’ve played.
  • My recommendation

My two recommendations: 1. When clicking on a new challenge, have a picture in the room so we know what it looks like! There are so many challenges I would have entered if I knew what the room looked. 2. Don’t put a limit on how many times we can use an item. If we pay for it, we should have to forever. Besides that, I absolutely love this game.
  • Interesting but needs big changes

New players will never have a chance to become “top players” with the perks that are available to “top players” because the “top players” have been members since 2016/2017. The same people/profiles are in the top design sections. It’s hard to save up diamonds and money because everything is expensive and when you try to go to the “free” section to earn diamonds, it takes you to a page that makes you visit sites where you have to purchase things for rewards. You also have the option to take a million surveys that say you will get “1,000+” diamonds sometimes but most of the time you won’t qualify and you might get 15 or if you take a lot of surveys, they’ll just start closing your webpage out. The game is entertaining. It’s not really fair though. New players can only expect to just do this to pass time because you’ll never be where the 2017 members are.
  • The most fun I ever had

I don’t know why but this game is amazing and I can’t live my life without playing it. Quick suggestion: it would be cool if we could sell our furniture that we don’t want or if we could exchange with friends. Keep up the good work!

I entered a room design challenge but didn’t notice I had only a few minutes to finish the whole design. I ended up spending a lot of money on specific furniture according to the challenge guidelines and it pretty much was for nothing. 😡

Love this game. Very relaxing and addictive in a good way. Makes me want to do room makeovers.
  • Design Home < Covet Fashion

Owned by the same company as Covet Fashion. The company likes Covet Fashion better than Design Home. No crashes on Covet Fashion. Once you submit your design on Design Home, that’s it. On Covet Fashion you can edit until it goes to vote. Customer support is pretty much NULL & VOID on Design Home. On Covet Fashion not only do they respond, they fix and they survey you often and then change accordingly to what you suggest!!! On Covet Fashion you can earn diamonds by watching videos all day long up to a thousand diamonds if you like. On Design Home IF IT WORKS you can earn only 300 diamonds not near enough to play. It rarely works. Usually you can watch one video only on Design Home and then it no longer works. When you buy on Design Home you get four items. When you buy on Covet Fashion you have it forever. When you contact customer service for Design Home they blame it on your internet. I own the most expensive and fastest internet available I have no problem with any other games. The sad thing is if they did the same thing with Design Home that they do with Covet Fashion it would be the best app out there.
