  • It is a fun game....BUT

    By Clash of ash
I'l tell u if it wasn't for the constant crashing of the game, and needing so much money to advance in the game I would give this game 5 stars. It's fun to play as I only been playing for couple months and on level 10 I think. I do not like how when u do have enough dollars or whatever u can buy wrestlers but gives u random one. U can play without spending money like me but it's going to take along time to advance. Also I got shards from Papa shango which of course I don't have enough shards to get him but I wonder if u still have to pay the 400 dollars when u do get enough shards because that would be wrong.

I originally really like this game. I had all three of my favorites so getting to play them and level them up was fun. I even said why not and did the trial for VIP. Recently though, I realized that my trial for VIP was up and was being charged weekly for something that honestly isn’t even close to worth it. I canceled the subscription cause obviously it wasn’t with it, what I didn’t know however was that my King of Kings Triple H could no longer be used if I wasn’t VIP. I had spent tons of in game money and training cards to level him up as much as I could and just like that he was useless. I lost complete interest in the game and deleted it. I’m not wasting hard earned money on a game that isn’t even worth it. I gave it two stars however because the actual game play is fun and I love seeing my favorite superstars, but if I could give 1.5 I would.

This game is a glitch fest. Takes forever to advance characters. No clear path to upgrade them. Every “feud” they have there are always colossal failures and glitches. The worst part is, they simply don’t care. Support doesn’t answer you back, and they fail to make it right. They couldn’t care less about you as a customer that puts food on their table. Scopely is an extremely poorly run company that simply doesn’t value its customers.

I will admit this game is fine. Quite frankly it’s really fun. However the absurd amount of advertisements shoved in your face during the games start up and in between matches our infuriating. Luke boxes are a joke they continue to reward less valuable items every week they are pointless. The developers are very clever and designing a game that lead you to believe that if you purchase loot crates and other real money items you will get the Ressler you want. I have stopped wasting my money on this game and will never spend another dollar on this game. You will never get the wrestler you think you’re going to get. I’ve played this game for over two years - not once has an advertised real money purchased loot crate delivered what it led you to believe. This is clearly gambling and or a game of chance and I hope there is a regulation that looks into their practices. I cannot tell you the hundreds of dollars I’ve wasted before finally realizing I’m a sucker. Do not waste your money while playing the game. Just play and have fun and the more of us that stop buying things might actually improve the experience. The game also glitches in bugs every single day. As they continue to lower the rewards you earn in matches the ones you do urn never show up. Do not waste real money in this game ever do yourself a favor.
  • Good but needs improvements

I love this game!!! However today I'm playing and the game freezes. I close them reopen and it won't go past the start screen. So I uninstall and reinstall and the same thing. 2-3 times after that I do the same thing with the same result

I don’t usually write reviews and I took an L on this game just like a previous review. Identical situation. I am in the military located away from my kids. When i would go and visit, me and my two boys would play this game and spend time with each other enjoying the game. I deployed and came home and my kids asked if we could play. I was all for it until... i found that my account had been reset, most likely due to inactivity. I then reached out to “support” who wanted a bunch of information that noone in their right mind would think to memorize. I gave them the info i could and they said they found my account. COOL RIGHT?!?! Not so much! They said the account would be pushed through and i would need to delete and reinstall. Nothing there. So back and forth same thing a couple times until i told them that i was upset because i had spent money on the game. I never spend money on games so the 20 dollars i spent getting characters for my kids was alot to me. They asked for reciepts. I sent them... response was “to send a reciept showing only the wwe legends purchase” if you purchase 3 things from the App Store and iTunes, Apple sends you a reciept with all items on the reciept. So those didn’t work for “support”. What ever, it is what it is, I moved on. I deleted it and refused to load it on to my kids ipads. I even deleted my other Scopely games. I stopped fighting it but saw that this app was featured on the App Store and it irked me. I read a review and sounded pretty identical to my situation so i decided I too should voice my experience so others don’t get duped. Here is my advice, IF YOU PLAY, DONT GET ATTACHED TO YOUR ACCOUNT AND DONT GIVE THEM YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY!

  • Can’t close adds

The new stupid pop up ads cannot be closed on my iPhone X because the upper right hand x to close the ad is behind the battery symbol. Idiot developers

  • Lacks logic

For some of the set levels you have to have a specific character to progress, 5 time champion Booker T for example on one level, but the characters aren’t available to unlock. The response from the help center is to just keep checking back or to follow their blog to see if the needed characters will be made available again. If you have to have a specific character to progress the game they should always be in rotation. And the new shards system makes it even less likely that you’ll unlock a character in general. 400 in game dollars used to guarantee a character. Now it’s shards toward unlocking a character with a small chance that you unlock a character outright.
