It does help you learn the keys. But it always says that you’re wrong when you hit all the right buttons!
  • Don’t try to become Beethoven after using this

It’s a good app, but it’s very basic stuff. If your a pianist like me who has taken lessons for multiple years, you could use this to try and improve your sight reading skills. Just keep in mind that if your just starting the piano, this app WILL NOT turn you into a piano master. Probably not even the same level as a 10 year old who has been playing for a year or two. If you want to play real classics such as “fur Elise”, or “nocturne ”, or even “Moonlight sonata third movement”, it will take a lot more than this app. Basically, this app is like an entry way, purely relying on it won’t make you good at the piano, but using it, then seeking out harder lessons, or trying out your own sheet music will help.

I am fine with apps that have in app purchases like this one (even though this one is ridiculously pricy) but make it apparent it is not completely free. In your ads you make in seem like it’s all free, In the video on the “screenshot.” Section you never mention it’s cost, the cost is only mentioned after you complete the first little beginning things, and finally you hide the cost so far in the description of the app. Honestly it would bring in better business if you just were upfront about it, because now you just have a bunch of downloads, and no where near the number of actual people using the app for longer than like 2 hours.
  • I hate this app with all my heart

I have this app because it will not give me a refund I however did not purchase any lessons because I’m taking lessons with an actual person so therefore I do not want this app I did not purchase this at this app purchase purchase premium by itself I don’t know why I want my refund they took $59 out of my account and I would love that bad because I did not buy it I don’t know who purchased it I don’t know if it self but I did not however by any so-called premium so therefore I despise this app and I would not get it if you are not if you do not like it and if you do not want premium do not have your credit card information in your phone I guess because it will produce itself and I suggest not getting that because it’s not helpful in any kind away I do not like it and I do not recommend getting the app stupid Therefore I don’t recommend someone getting the app

Why would I ever purchase a subscription(for a minimum of 60$) when I’m not allowed to even view what it is I’m paying for. The only thing your allowed to view in app is several slides of them telling you hey we have a lot of songs and some lessons! People like us! No I’m going back to Flowkey at least they’re transparent.

Hey I write software for a living too, but $10 a month is a bit steep. $4.99 month would be fine for this type of app. Developers, take up the challenge and see if you can do better for a lower price.
  • better to get a tutor.

this app does well in teaching you notes and chords, i’ve only gotten up to the essentials but i can see some flaws in this app. for one, if you get a note wrong, you can just smash a few nearby notes and it will pick up the note you’re supposed to play and pass you. i also think there should be a way to skip the part where you learn note lengths. i already know how long a half note is. but apparently, the app doesn’t. when playing a song, half notes last way less than 2 beats before moving on to the next note. it doesn’t teach you to count at all, which is very critical in reading sheet music. the app holds your hand and just teaches you to play when the bar lands on the note instead. and the price is outrageous. you’ll be better off just getting a tutor than wasting your money on this app. it’s nice to practice with, but that’s about it. definitely not worth it for the price.
