RoboKiller - Stop Spam Calls App Description

With RoboKiller, answer your phone with confidence once again! Telemarketers and scammers have made it painful to pick up a call, but RoboKiller, winner of the FTC's anti-robocall competition, gives you your phone back. The New York Times, NBC, Wired, Engadget, Vice and others, are all raving about RoboKiller’s power to block over 100,000 spam calls and its uncanny ability to show you exactly who is calling you before your answer. RoboKiller reduces unwanted calls by up to 90% in 30 days! RoboKiller is available with both monthly and yearly subscriptions, both with a free 7-day trial; opt-out at any time during the trial and you aren’t charged a penny. (See robokiller.com for pricing.) RoboKiller also takes the hassle out of getting the calls you DO want, with true, real-time caller ID so you can stop guessing who’s at the other end of your calls. RoboKiller’s caller ID turns phone numbers into names, addresses and even photos of the people calling you. No more annoying cutting and pasting, trying to figure out who’s on the phone after the call is already over. *** RoboKiller works on Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint, C Spire, Cricket and MetroPCS. RoboKiller is NOT currently supported by US Cellular. *** KEY BENEFITS: - Automatically blocks spam and robocallers with patented FTC-award winning technology. - Spam list automatically updates automatically, making sure you always have the most up-to-date protection. - Take control! Bad number got through? Block it! Good number got blocked? Allow it! - Identifies missed calls with Caller ID - including names, addresses and even photos (where available). - See missed and blocked calls in your Recents - you can even listen in to hear why blocked callers were calling. - Dedicated customer service team with real humans, 7 days a week. In-App Purchases: RoboKiller is a free download, with a free trial period to use the app completely risk-free, before purchasing the service. If you purchase the service, you will be charged a monthly price according to your country. The price will always be shown in the app before you complete a purchase. Your RoboKiller subscription automatically renews at the end of every billing period (as determined by your purchase of monthly or yearly service) and your iTunes account will automatically be charged within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can turn off auto-renew at any time from your iTunes Account Settings after purchase. Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription to that publication, where applicable. Robocalls were not blocked. Once I did get through to support (painful...) the agent had to reprogram. Did this 4 different times. I’m done with the app. I hope this company figures it out. Love the concept but they are not ready for go-live.

Only blocks maybe 20% of calls. Frustrating interface doesn’t allow me to review numbers after the first time, so I can block them after I’ve confirmed in my VM logs.
  • Doesn’t work with sprint

After the latest update I can do anything with the program. Doesn’t work no matter what I do. Doesn’t list calls won’t allow me to add numbers nothing.
  • One more option and it would be perfect!

I love everything about this app, but I would like one more option. I am on call for work sometimes, and the repercussions of not answering a call are fairly serious. I have a different area code than my work would be calling from, and it hasn’t been an issue yet, but for now, when I’m on call I turn the app off. My work has thousands of numbers, but always the same area code. So it would be impossible to add every possible number to my phone book in order to ensure that it would not be blocked. I would like for the app to have a “do not block” area code option. That way I could choose an area code and under no circumstances would it be blocked.
  • So awesome!!!

Love this app. I recently changed my number and had dozens of calls each day from spammers with my new number. I downloaded this app and it is hilarious to listen to the bots talk to these annoying people! Very entertaining and useful!!

First it worked great, then I realized I’m being charged twice by this service. It says it supports Cricket but, when I try to deactivate from my phone following the instructions they provide, Cricket doesn’t show up so I can’t deactivate the service.

I downloaded this today at the advice of friends that were either paying $1.99 a month or the other option of $24.99 a year. To my surprise and without the option to choose I was to be billed $69.99 a year at the end of the 7 day Free period. There is little human support other than through a live chat. On this App page you will find 10 different price points listed with explanation as to the differences. I found out through a chat with RoboCrook that $69.99 is the new price and that is that. I cancelled immediately and hope that after 7 days I do not get billed. Buyer Beware! Love the concept and would gladly support it but not for 70 bucks a month.
