App Reviews

  • Saving Time

I now spend less time at the gym , but get a lot more done compared to what I was used to before. Great App.
  • Great overall

Started using this app to help me do more varied and efficient workouts. I think it’s def been helping me get more toned and just enjoy working out more than I was. I liked it enough to pay for a year subscription and so far no regrets. FYI, there is a month-to-month option, but it’s buried and more expensive. One of the real benefits of Fitbod is that I don’t have to think about what I’m going to be doing and can just show up at the gym and do the workout and feel good about it. Fitbod definitely listens to feedback because they implemented several things I asked for in my prior review, like warm up and cool down routines and “walking” as an exercise. I love that they’ve added streaks. The new plate calculated is confusing though. I still wish I could swipe between superset exercises instead of going back to the full workout view then selecting the next exercise — I say this cuz I try to look ahead at the exercises I’m going to be doing so I can mentally prep for them and memorize the routine. I also wish I could add “basketball” and other sports as cardio exercises. I also wish I could request new exercises be added from in the app when I search but they aren’t there. It’s also a bit weird that you can’t access other parts of the app when you’re in a workout. I would like to be able to send feedback while I’m using the app without leaving it or stopping a workout. I love the calendar so I can see how I’ve been doing, but wish there were some charts so I can see progress over time.
  • Still freezes and doesn’t sync well with watch

    By dej0115
Even after latest update, app still freezes and hangs when using it. The syncing between the watch app and phone app is terrible. I paid for the year and wish I could get my money back. I take my workouts very seriously and this app constantly adds stress to tracking my workouts. PLEASE. FIX. IT.
  • Just ok

    By Butthaven90
I want to love this app, especially because I forgot to cancel after my free trial, but I just don’t. I don’t think it is super intuitive to use and it doesn’t motivate me to go hard at the gym. Like another reviewer, I have wondered about the efficacy of the rep ranges and suggested supersets/circuits. I do think the videos are great for the beginner, though. I’m going to stick with it, begrudgingly, for awhile since I’m about $60 lighter in the pocket for it. I would recommend a different app for the serious lifter.
  • Good workout App

    By Maximus1024
I like this app. I just need something to keep me on track and guide me through workouts. This gives a good variety and I can adjust anything or make my own if I want to. I like the way it tracks workouts by muscle group to offset work. I paid for it for ease of use and haven’t looked back on it yet. Only recommendation would be to add a little tone/chime when my rest time is up, so that I can get an audible cue to get back lifting. It would be helpful to hear in my Bluetooth headset as a notice to get back to lifting.

I have used Fitbod strength training this season for its flexibility, diversity, and awesome programming. As a 42 year old strongman competitor, I placed 3rd at the USS nationals in Columbus Ohio. This secured my position to compete as a pro masters division strongman! Even without having strongman lifts built into the algorithm I was able to supplement exercises and take full weeks to do strongman lifts with strongman implements and apparatuses. I’m so glad I saw this app advertised during my words with friends match! 💪🏽❤️💪🏽
  • Awesome app

It’s so nice not having to search Pinterest for at-home workouts!
  • Amazing!

Great app to monitor your workouts and progress!
  • Great idea but buggy

    By Ethanopp
Great concept and the app looks great, performance is another story though. Crashes all the time, often duplicates workouts when using with Apple Watch, and it seems like a roll of the dice when it comes to importing workouts from health...sometimes they come in, other times nowhere to be found and there is no option to manually kick-off a sync
  • Amazing app to log and keep track of workouts.

    By AznWizz
The app has great instructions and videos to show you how to properly do a workout. Biggest issue I have is when I accidentally log a set that I’ve done. I need a way to undo the log instead of having to delete it or just log it again.
