I love the historical feel, I also love how the heroine wasn't submissive (in soji's main story) and basically saved her own life

The font size on your text is a lot smaller than your other games. It is hard to read.
  • Worth playing

This is definitely worth the buy! I've read three different characters so far. I have to say what I liked the most about this was the music. Very well done 👍

Voltage went all in with this app, gorgeous art, nice music and moving sprites! Story tucks at your heartstrings! All of them but Hajime's shines the brightest for me. It can be a little slow and depressing but it's well done. I think it's a bit too heavy to be fun entertainment but hey, if you enjoy drama, this is good to try

I absolutely LOVE Otome games, but this one just takes the cake; and not in a good way. 1.) too expensive for routes 2.) RIPOFF OF HAKUOUKI

These games are all so well done! I've played other otome games, but voltage definitely comes out on top! Every character is so diverse and lovable that I end up spending way too much money on them!

I only support Voltage for silly visual romance novels because they actually disclose the full costs. Thank you for your honesty, Voltage. This particular title only gets a 2⭐️ because the main character is both innocent AND stupid. It's funny when she's one or the other, but both at the same time gets a little tedious. It's abused for plot purposes in a very transparent way. I don't expect a lot, but I can only overlook so much before it affects my enjoyment. The characters aren't bad when you can ignore the MC. The second reason for 2⭐️ is the abrupt scene transitions. Some are so sudden it seems like lines or slides are missing, especially in Okita's story. I always like seeing how people fictionalize the events near the end of the Edo period as much as I like seeing how they fictionalize the end of the Wild West (Wyatt Earp & Doc Holliday, for example). But this one is burdened by relying on the innocence + stupidity combo of the MC. UPDATE: They did better with the MC for Harada's story. I like it a lot when the MC is pretty different each read too so I'll keep it at a 3⭐️ until the stories are all released. UPDATE: I'll keep it at 3 stars now that I've read all the main stories. I don't regret buying them at all. I'll stick with it cuz I'm curious how they'll handle the end...Civil war is tragic for both sides, the only people who win are those who aren't born yet...This isn't Hakuoki where they can blame happy endings on oni lol.

i really enjoyed this game and the special bonus scenes with voice acting! like someone else wrote before, it definitely felt real. a very immersive experience. i played it back when only hijikata and saito were the options, played both routes, and fell for both of them even though hiji was more my type! definitely worth it. ❤️❤️❤️

I love this game so worth it, literally does actually feel real actually makes my heart start beating fast. I wish there were more story's of toshi hijikata. I love it when soji okita butts in hijikate business all the time it's hilarious wish there was more of that too! Great storytelling :)
