Pokémon GO App Description

Pokémon GO just introduced a new research feature that encourages Trainers to explore the world by completing a variety of objectives with the opportunity to earn helpful rewards and discover powerful Pokémon. Join Trainers across the globe who are discovering Pokémon as they explore the world around them. Pokémon GO is the global gaming sensation that has been downloaded over 800 million times and named “Best Mobile Game” by The Game Developers Choice Awards and “Best App of the Year” by TechCrunch. Venusaur, Charizard, Blastoise, Pikachu, and many other Pokémon have been discovered! Pokémon are out there, and you need to find them. As you walk around a neighborhood, your smartphone will vibrate when there’s a Pokémon nearby. Take aim and throw a Poké Ball… You’ll have to stay alert, or it might get away! Search far and wide for Pokémon and items Certain Pokémon appear near their native environment—look for Water-type Pokémon by lakes and oceans. Visit PokéStops and Gyms—found at interesting places like museums, art installations, historical markers, and monuments—to stock up on Poké Balls and helpful items. Catching, hatching, evolving, and more As you level up, you’ll be able to catch more-powerful Pokémon to complete your Pokédex. You can add to your collection by hatching Pokémon Eggs based on the distances you walk. Help your Pokémon evolve by catching many of the same kind. Choose a Buddy Pokémon to walk with and earn Candy that will help you make your Pokémon stronger. Compete in epic Gym battles You’ll join one of three teams and battle for the ownership of Gyms with your Pokémon at your side. As your Charmander evolves to Charmeleon and then Charizard, you can battle together to defeat a Gym and assign your Pokémon to defend it against all comers. Team up to defeat powerful Raid Bosses A Raid Battle is a cooperative gameplay experience that encourages you to work with up to 20 other Trainers to defeat an extremely powerful Pokémon known as the Raid Boss. If you succeed in defeating it in battle, you’ll have the chance to catch an extra powerful Pokémon of your own! It’s time to get moving—your real-life adventures await! • WHAT IN THE WORLD...

Well have I ever!... If I never did so in darn Denver catch my very first Pikachu, then catch more in places like Arlington and Fort Worth and things like that, then evolve one and finally get Raichu. I mean, why do these people make over 10 YEARS of Pokémon cartoons saying that Pikachu is always better than Raichu. How!? And if it was a difference to hatch over 15 eggs and finally hatch a Pichu. I mean I have that full evolution! And the same thing with Jigglypuff's evolution. WHAT!? This game blows my mind starting after I got a Wigglytuff. I have 2 actually. You catch Jigglypuff, you hatch Igglybuff, you evolve Jigglypuff into Wigglytuff. How? I have Pichu, Cleffa, Igglybuff, and Togepi. I do have other Pokémon like Spinarak and Spoink. If you hatch Aron, (or catch) you are on your way to something great. These evolutions are cool. You evolve Spoink into Grumpig, Chansey into Blissey, Wailmer— WHO KNOWS WHAT ELSE. If you catch a Pokémon and it says "Oh?" You just caught Ditto. You know WHAT!? I have a LOT of Pokémon. I already have Jolteon (one of the Pokémon from the Evolution of Eevee, or Eeveelution) This is probably why his name is Eevee. Thanks for reading. ... thanks... GAH!
  • Needs many fixes

4 issues that needs to be addressed. 1) Is receiving coins after defending a gym. About 90% of the time I do receive coins for defending a gym. But other times the game doesn’t want to reward me for work and time to defend the gym. The bonus should be for the day you put your Pokémon in the gym (if I put in a Golem around 7am on Monday and get battled out at 3:30am Tuesday, I will get coin bonus for Monday). 2) Spoofing shouldn’t be allowed. It’s ruining the game when they are hogging up all raid spots or taking over gyms. I have missed good raid sessions (with people I know or I’ve done raids with before) because of spoofers. And have been knocked out of gyms within 5 minutes because of them. 3) Is the feeding system should be available only AFTER a battle of all the Pokémon in the gym OR when nobody is battling down the gym. I have encountered along with few others that we are in a battle to faint a 800CP Blissey (for example) out and as soon as we believe that we knocked that Blissey out it got fed a golden berry just before it got knocked out to go back to 2997. Also it’s upsetting when myself (others to) are battling down a gym and someone puts their Pokémon in the gym while it’s under attack. Tried putting my Pokémon in gyms while under attack and says “gym is under attack”. So please come out with a legit fix. 4) Gps needs to be fixed. Sometimes when I play my character either stays in one place and takes his sweet time walking to where I’m at or my player starts walking on the other side of the street and seems like he is taking a walk somewhere or on a worse case he would run about 2-3 blocks away and start walking around that location and then runs back and says I’m a passenger. Also needs a friend request option. If someone ran across a few helpful raiders they could be friends. What’s needed soon is chat. There should be three types of chat: 1)Local chat 1 & 2, which allows you to chat to people within a few blocks away in 1 and the city in 2, 2) Friend chat, allows you to talk to friends 3) Normal chat, allows people to chat with others from across the world. It would be great for getting a raid group going or just need a few more people in the raid or to see if someone wants to walk around and play Pokémon or whatever. You can enable or disable any of them when you like. One feature that needs to be fixed is throwing Pokéballs at Pokémon. Half the time the ball can hit the Pokémon in the circle and after it does the dodge animation or will bounce off the Pokémon or keep going though the Pokémon. When someone or myself wants to catch a Pokémon we actually want to use fewer balls compared to using more balls on a bad animations. One feature that would be great to see is bonuses on raids for interacting with others that are doing the raid. So if myself and 7 others are at a raid (example- Lugia) and not interacting with each other then we won’t be able to get the bonuses. If myself and 2 others are interacting then just us 3 would only be able to get the bonus. I do a lot of raids and run across the same people usually and some are interacting and some of those people run behind a tree or a car or a wall and not interacting with myself or others that are their at the raid. The rewards could be increased. I’m not saying you need to interact with people but I’m saying it might be a great incentive for people to interact with others and eventually form a raid group or even help with the bonuses or even play Pokémon together. The weather feature is great but needs a more realistic feeling. Like where I live sometimes it can be foggy for 6 blocks and mostly cloudy for the next 15 blocks and mostly sunny into the next city. So it would be nice to implement a weather system depending on where you are walking. What should be done if 2 people from different teams battled down a gym is have a a best of 3 challenge for the gym. Winner gets control over the gym until knocked out. Edit: With the EX Raid passes, the passes should go to active raiders in the community equally. I’m a active raider and got a few EX passes while someone I raid with at the same places finally got one about a month ago along with myself. What’s needed soon is a trading for Pokémon and trading for stuff in the inventory. I know a lot of people have been requesting that for awhile. Also what's needed is raid punishment for people who leave during battle. It gets frustrating when you almost done with the raid and most people leave because their Pokémon die and don't feel like selecting new ones or a raid just starts with 12 people (example) and most of them leave except myself and 1-2 other people or people think that they can’t complete the raid before the timer so they leave. But if you do leave then it would start with a gym suspension (can’t do battles and raids) and then leads to gym and game suspensions. The suspensions will increase in time the more you leave. Then leads into a permanent ban if you continue. If you lag out or lose connection or "error" then you won't be punished.

I love this game. However I would love if you received more Pokéballs from a Pokéstop at a time. Like mabye 5-10 pokéballs on average. I always hate running out of them. I don’t have many pokéstops in my area so this could really help.

Crashes on open repeatedly. Sorting Pokémon by HP still just sorts by CP, not HP. Very frustrating.
