Pokémon GO App Description

Pokémon GO has now introduced social and trading features that allow Trainers to connect with each other by adding friends, sending Gifts, and participating in a new Friendship level system that unlocks bonuses. Trainers can now trade Pokémon with other Trainers nearby, earning a Candy Bonus for the Pokémon received. Join Trainers across the globe who are discovering Pokémon as they explore the world around them. Pokémon GO is the global gaming sensation that has been downloaded over 800 million times and named "Best Mobile Game" by The Game Developers Choice Awards and "Best App of the Year" by TechCrunch. Venusaur, Charizard, Blastoise, Pikachu, and many other Pokémon have been discovered! Pokémon are out there, and you need to find them. As you walk around a neighborhood, your smartphone will vibrate when there’s a Pokémon nearby. Take aim and throw a Poké Ball… You’ll have to stay alert, or it might get away! Search far and wide for Pokémon and items Certain Pokémon appear near their native environment—look for Water-type Pokémon by lakes and oceans. Visit PokéStops and Gyms—found at interesting places like museums, art installations, historical markers, and monuments—to stock up on Poké Balls and helpful items. Catching, hatching, evolving, and more As you level up, you’ll be able to catch more-powerful Pokémon to complete your Pokédex. You can add to your collection by hatching Pokémon Eggs based on the distances you walk. Help your Pokémon evolve by catching many of the same kind. Choose a Buddy Pokémon to walk with and earn Candy that will help you make your Pokémon stronger. Compete in epic Gym battles You’ll join one of three teams and battle for the ownership of Gyms with your Pokémon at your side. As your Charmander evolves to Charmeleon and then Charizard, you can battle together to defeat a Gym and assign your Pokémon to defend it against all comers. Team up to defeat powerful Raid Bosses A Raid Battle is a cooperative gameplay experience that encourages you to work with up to 20 other Trainers to defeat an extremely powerful Pokémon known as the Raid Boss. If you succeed in defeating it in battle, you’ll have the chance to catch an extra powerful Pokémon of your own! It’s time to get moving—your real-life adventures await! I have been a loyal player to this app since launch day, and I have seen all the patches and fixes and I truly appreciate it. Unfortunately I really would like to know why is it that when I try and trade my Shiny Aaron pokemon to my friend who I have a 3 star buddy tier with, makes me spend 170,000 stardust for this. This is extremely over priced. You can trade a Shiny Lavitar and it will only cost 40,000 but a Shiny Aaron cost 170,000? A HUGE rip off for real to your loyal players. A very broke system that is a must fix! My friend and I are almost maxed buddies and it should not cost me 170,000 stardust for this simply Shiny Aaron trade. After the fact they only had to spend 40,000 to trade me their Shiny Lavitar. Absolutely a rip off on the game developers part and you KNOW what you are doing! Stardust is not easy to obtain when you NEED it to boost pokemon! Come on people! ADJUST the pricing on these lower shiny tier pokemon!!!!!!!! 1/5 stars because you spend all this time adding these unnecessary features and bug fixes but do not bother to bat an eye at this price trading issue! Shame on you all.

I think it would be great if you can earn more candy base on what Pokémon is your buddy for instance if I have a Staryu and it take 5km then you should get 2 candies if it takes 10km you get 5 something to that effect its a lot of walking for just 1 candy!
  • AWFUL Sound Quality

This app is fine and good but I can’t stand to listen to the music or sound effects (barring the Pokémon cries) because if the terrible audio quality. You would think that for a more high-end application like this it wouldn’t be so bad, but no. Please fix this in an update.

I resisted getting into this game for a long time, but now on bad days, it gives me an excuse to go out, and on good days the whole family goes out and spins time hitting all the stops in a local park. It’s great!

I agree with you I live out in the country and I have to drive at least 10miles to find a pokestop mt husband has cancer and this is my way of reliving stress we don’t have alit of money to spend on gas so I only hit the stops on my wY to work . It would be reLly nice if we could at least get our one spin of the day, like she said just a suggestion but I would really benefit tremendously from it! Thank you for your time I love playing and will continue to do so just would love to be able to get my 7 day streak🤩

  • Okay but could be great

The game needs more single player fun. The gyms are cool but I wish there were different solo level gyms you can defeat to earn badges. Maybe work your way beating level 1 to level 10 gyms or something. The games been out forever and nothing has been expanded. There’s no game to play.
  • Ridiculous

It’s ridiculous that you have to update the app just to be able to play the game bc I can’t update it right now and I should still be able to play the game without having to update bc I can with any other game that I have on my phone so goodbye Pokémon go
