I like the game, but the money you earn takes you beating 100 stages to afford anything.... thinking about deleting!
  • Great fun!

  • Love the game however

I love the game but when I purchase something it has been over charging me. I didn’t notice at first until I went back to my emails and was trying to figure out why it was so much. So for that you get a 1 star for stealing my money.

This game is so fun to play when bored
  • Some early levels are too much

Fun, good graphics but I almost gave up on it. Hit a level early on I could not get past. My rules for games are I won’t buy power ups and I won’t join teams or play with ‘friends’. Was afraid I couldn’t beat that level without doing one of those. Then I realized I could spin for a gift each day and by saving these and using them in combination I was finally able to get past it. Glad I persisted. I like that I run out of lives sometimes. Makes me put the phone down and do something else. Hit a new level of frustration with this game Level 72. On other levels I understand the mechanics of how to win even if it took awhile to do. This level I don’t understand how it is supposed to work and there is no help available. This may be the end of me and Gardenscapes

It always shows this cool scenario type of game... instead it’s matching. It’s fine if it’s matching. Just stop advertising like it’s something else.

ALL the time. EVERY power up you start with is placed in exactly whatever position will block you from a good move, or force you to use the power up before it can possibly be useful. If you use one of the boosters you have to choose before starting the level, the game WILL force you to use them when they cannot possibly be useful, which is extra infuriating because it was already placed to screw you up from the get-go. During power-up promotions, when you (finally) clear a level after 59 attempts, you are “rewarded” a power-up at the start of the next level — as always, placed exactly where it can screw up your start the most — which makes it near impossible to clear the next level on the first try. They like to pat themselves on the back for creating a “challenging” game, but there’s absolutely nothing challenging about this game. ANY playrix game. Trying to clear a level that requires multiple bombs but only sends you match-3s on the opposite end of the board for 30 moves in a row is not challenging. It’s the very definition of impossible. This game is as challenging as a slot machine. You may as well get a slot machine game instead of this one. Shoot, you’d probably hit the jackpot far more often than you ever hit the Right Moves for the Board Jackpot in this game. If you’re the kind of person who feels as good about buying wins as you would earning challenging wins, you’ll probably love the game. The addiction algorithms have been mastered by playrix. The only reason ALL of my playrix games, the match three games anyway, weren’t deleted YEARS ago is wanting to see how the house/garden/tank turns out. Which is key to the addiction of these games. Otherwise, there are no doubt countless match three games one could download that never forces you to play the same board for two months before finally sending enough valid moves in the same turn to clear the board. All of this happens mostly on the “easier” levels. It’s actually often less time consuming and less frustrating trying to clear the hard levels because the algorithms send jackpots a little more often when the level is open about being hard. Oh, also, during special events in which you compete with other players for ... something, I don’t care what, a pop up pops up letting you know it’s the firework/apple/lightning festival and there are two options: Continue (to competition board) and X (one might assume to NOT continue to the competition board). But it’s a trick. Tapping EITHER option takes you to the competition board and your forced to sit through the whole spiel, whether you want to or not. I loathe that every. single. time. I hate this game EVERY MINUTE I play it. One day, possibly one day very soon, I’m going to quit giving a hey how the garden/house/tank turns out. Then I will delete every hateful wallet sucking playrix app from all my devices. I won’t look back.
