  • This is an excellent game BUT

The developers absolutely MUST DO SOMETHING ABOUT THE CONSTANT ENERGY DROUGHT. I would suggest that energy should build up A LOT FASTER and your limit should increase with every level. Also, we should be able to purchase energy with coins. I quit playing after about ten minutes because all of my energy is gone and it takes an hour and a half to get it back. Then it lasts about 30 seconds. It seems like a waste to have millions of coins that I can’t use and no energy to clear anything. I really love this game. Seriously enough that I’ve literally spent hundreds of dollars playing it. But I’m frustrated with the energy issue and about to delete it. There’s too many other things out there to play to be this frustrated all the time.

I really like the game but you can run out of energy quick. I can get a few bushes cleared in a mission and then I am out of energy and it's frustrating cause you get into the game.

Yep. Very frustrating. Energy is used up way to fast. Can’t refill it by just the options given. Sad. Had a real great thing going till level 6 or so. Deleting it now.

At the beginning, the game was interesting & fun. As I advanced, I couldn’t earn enough energy to complete tasks without making purchases! Then the game started having errors & reloading frequently. Now game acts like it’s reloading but can’t complete the process. Been playing 20 days, spent over $100 for a game I can’t play!!!! Very disappointing 😾

New addition to this review: without buying emeralds or cons, I can’t see how anyone can ever accumulate enough money to buy the $35,000 packing facility. I have hoarded my gold consistently, but it’s getting whittled away just feeding and replacing dead animals. If I fill boat shipments I’m unable to fill orders, and vice versa. I really enjoy the game, but I don’t EVER pay for any game with real money. I don’t mind having to wait forever to get energy. But I hate failing to fill ship after ship because I can’t get a saw. I can’t build furniture, homes for my employees, or manufacturing facilities that require beams and boards without a saw! Working for days to fill an order for Sir Chaney is one thing (do you have any idea how long it takes to grow 80 bales of cotton?), but the few saws given as rewards for the sales are rapidly used up in mere minutes, before I make any headway. The only conclusion I can come to is that you want people to get addicted to the game so they will spend real money to buy coins and emeralds. I feel sorry for kids whose parents won’t fork it over.

I like all of the graphic details. The story is great and really grabs the player. My problem is that...I've got a day job!!! I've never been able to finish a special event! I've even set alarms to try to get there, but it's just too much!!! I tried so hard for the Valentine's Day event but the 88 point stones were killing me. I don't know if I even want to try any more.
  • Too little energy given- too slow of progress

Update- Tried one more time on the Valentine’s Day special event & once again even playing as often as I could, didn’t make it achieving even 1/2 of the goals. To little progress made on the amount of energy given… so, I am deleting game.☹️ (Original review) Great subject matter and could be really fun but… I have been playing this game for several months now and unfortunately there is not enough energy given to do more than clear out a couple rocks and plants before you’re totally on empty. I can never make it to the end of a special event – or even close to it with the amount of energy given in the game even when logging into the game off and on all day long. Unless I were to spend lots of real money buying gems it just is not possible. Will give it one more try on the new Valentine special event coming up.....
  • Waste of time and money

There’s a lot left to be desired in this game. There’s a theme song that is short and monotous. It’s cute the first time you hear it and then it never changes. I turned the sound off. Then there’s just the idea of plowing through the Alaskan territory and the settler colonialist idea of tame the wilderness with Native American help. That should have bothered me earlier but it definitely bothers me now. The last straw was this past Valentine’s Day event that was just a litany of tasks that you basically cannot get done without spending money, and I had spent enough on this game. It was disappointing to not be able to finish and it’s basically rigged that you can’t finish without spending money. In general, it must be some American capitalist idea to have games where you’re working all the time, and if that’s you’re sense of fun, you’ll love this game. Otherwise, I’d say skip it.
