  • Inconsistent

When it works it’s awesome! But most of times, for no rhyme or reason, it doesn’t. It doesn’t remember the previously paired sensors and smart trainer so you have to wait 5 minutes to repair everything every time you ride. Then your character is stuck and doesn’t move. I run Bkool and Zwift so whenever Zwift doesn’t work Bkool never fails. I feel my membership should cost $5/mo. since it’s erratic and only works 1/2 the time.

When I was buying a gift card for my husband, I received plenty of help through the Chat. After that, nothing. We asked for help two weeks ago via email and have had no response. Thanks Zwift. You made your sale and don’t care about anything else.

I really enjoy Zwift so does my husband and we wouldn’t be without it! Our son gets a free membership through ours and often asks to go on it. Yes it can after a while get a little dull, but that’s why it’s for using as well as getting outdoors. I’ve really enjoyed cycling with a colleague in another State and the women’s events. I’m doing a training plan at the moment, which Is keeping me interested. Yes it occasionally takes a little patience to connect sometimes and it has dropped out on me when riding. It’s not perfect but what is, it’s a great addition to my cycling routine.

I am new to the app. I had heard such rave reviews about it but it crashes before it fully opens. I get the logo and then it closes.

  • Poor product

Zwift is a poor product plain and simple. Over priced and unreliable. Don’t get sucked into watching Tour pros using the app for training... it’s a poor product for a consumer. “Known issues” will need to be added to your browser home page, as they are constantly happening, especially with Apple products. You’ll be required to have an IT background to troubleshoot the product. For $15.00 a month it’s very unimpressive. $5.99 a month would be more in line with the quality of the product. Canceled my subscription after two months. Just not worth it.

Works relatively well but dropouts with the Apple Watch can be a bit annoying. I also really wish they would allow you to choose which course to ride. It’s been on the wishlist for a long time. I also had a lost connection after an hour of riding and lost an hours worth of data working toward a challenge. I don’t understand why they can’t add that back into your account, especially if you have the fit file. Hopefully that can be rectified soon. Frustrating, but only has happened once to me so far.
  • Intermittent operation

This app struggles to work consistently. What works one day may not work the next. As a training tool, this severely limits it’s effectiveness. With scheduled races and workouts, a person needs to devote several hours of test time prior to each event to test that days state of operation and debugging any issues. In many cases, issues are not revealed until an event/race/workout starts. As a service which wants a constant $15 per month payment for spotty and intermittent operation, this is becoming a losing proposition. Things have not improved in a year of service, only new courses are released, but no apparent improvement in stability.
