After a year + of playing I am thinking of giving this up. I love hockey I love and breath hockey. However, when I save 500 k of coins waiting for one card or one team card to come out then 95% of the time don’t get it.... it starts to get frustrating. You rarely get cards you want , even if you save up. You can pay to get a better chance but it gets costly fast. Oh there are also diamond only packs (pay only) to get them. I rather pay initially for this app and get to enjoy it more , or have a 5 dollar a month thing even to make it both affordable, fun, and still supports a company . You will feel like you get something to start form the game then it just stops. No more progression without real money and even then you may not get what you want. After so much time invested until they allow you to expand your collection with a chance of getting things some more , then I will not be investing in this app anymore ... I am sorry I gave it over a year ...

Don’t like the fact that the rare cards are only for pay players, but I guess they have to pay to keep this great app up and running!
  • Miss melding but...

While I don’t know why they stopped melding cards because that made getting team awards harder. also 50 card team sets was tough. Everything else was awesome and fun. Did create more reading but there’s a ton of regular traders who don’t play fair so it’s hard making realistic trades.

Again feeling forced to leave a review to stop the “do you like us” pop up from appearing.

Had a fun season growing the collection. Spent about 50$ total that I wish I had back. The odds of pulling an insert are ridiculous. Trading became spammy and clunky like an old chat room. Contests are the most frustrating part. You can’t submit a lineup until after a game has started. By the time the app lags or crashes, your card you tried to play for your lineup may have scored. It’s just a terrible fantasy hockey setup. 2 stars for adding free packs to open. With that and the daily 10,000 coins (which gets you barely one pack of 5 cards -with terrible odds) I’ve managed to stay engaged at least once a day for less than 60 seconds. Hope the devs can get a better app out for 2019 season.

  • NEEDS A BASKETBALL VERSION

This app, like all other Topps trading card apps, is great. I love rushing to open packs to get beautiful rare cards; however, I would LOVE to have basketball version. There is a version for just about every other major sport. There is some basketball trading card apps but in my opinion, they are garbage and nothing compared to Topps.
