Pirates in Love: Captain's Cut App Description

"Get ready to set sail on a journey filled with adventure, danger, and LOVE...!" *The stories featured in this app are the same as those found in “Pirates in Love.” ◆Story◆ A twist of fate has led you aboard the pirate ship Sirius, whose crew sails the high seas in search of treasure. The only catch, though, is that you’re the only girl on board! But what awaits you at the end of your adventure? Will it be riches beyond your wildest dreams? Or perhaps a love more valuable than any treasure this world has to offer...? ◆Character Profiles◆ Hayate: The possessive fencer "You're the only lady on deck..." Running afoul of short-tempered Hayate isn’t in your best interest, but there’s something handsome in the way he wields his twin blades... Shin: The cold navigator “The treasure, your heart... I’ll have it all.” Sadistic Shin should be avoided at all costs; his threats to toss you overboard don’t seem to be in jest. So then why is he always so protective of you...? Soshi: The gentle doctor "What happens in my infirmary will be our little secret." The mild-mannered physician of the Sirius, Soshi seems the easiest to get along with, but his grip on reality seems...tenuous, at best. ◆Support◆ Please check the FAQ before contacting us. • Purchases don't restore from old app.

Am extremely disappointed that the stories from the original app wont transfer over. Purchased almost all of the original stories, but apparently I will have to purchase AGAIN in this app
  • disappointed fan

Truly I could give this five stars if the English version were brought back (Eduardo and Christopher). If that were the case I'd be buying everything. Doesn't feel the same. At least the choice to pick between the English and the Japanese version would be nice.

Why did you change their names? And what do you plan to do about the money I already used in the app that is now gone because you got rid of Christopher?! No no no no no

I’ve bought all the story’s from the first version. Well not all but the majority of them, including sequels. Can you bring that version back? I would really love to reread them. But if not, can I at least have my money back? I bought them thinking I can come back and reread them whenever I wanted to. I would really appreciate it, thanks.

So I had the other pirates in love game and it was my first one I played of voltage inc. it was also my favorite. The only thing that I’m upset about is that I have to pay for all the stories again since I already bought all the main stories, the epilogue, the sequel, etc etc

I am so glad they did the Japanese version of this app. But upset I can’t transfer my purchases from the original one. I feel like I wasted my money.
  • Need to repurchase

    By Aaaaacey
I was really happy to know that Voltage decided to continue with this game. However, it’s very upsetting that I need to repurchase all the stories even though I already bought them all from the previous version. I just hope there’s a way to transfer them😕
  • No, old app purchases won't transfer, and character redesign

    By Dogsrule3420
I don't think my review went through so again: 2 stars because I've always been a fan and the updated quality isn't bad. If a user is new to the app, they'd have 0 issues with it. No, to anybody wondering, if you have the first version of this app, you won't be able to transfer your purchases to this one. I still have the old app and it downloaded Russell's and Eduardo's when I chose their stories but not Nathan's so it's there (without music), but it'll crash a bit and maybe you can't get everything back. They should have just revised the old one... Eduardo's character was redesigned to look like off-brand Sasuke Uchiha, and yeah, the original was better, but that's not even the biggest problem. Can we focus on Soshi?? They literally changed their black character to an extremely pale character that looks like a twin brother to Eduardo/Shin. Really Voltage?? Maybe the reason was that the character didn't make you guys enough money or the whole app didn't in general and I get that Japanese manga typically means every character is white as hell but give me a break. They're pirates. On a ship. Anybody who lives on a ship is underneath glaring sunlight surrounded by light reflecting off water is TAN at the VERY LEAST. In the original, I found it funny that Eduardo was pale as hell, but I thought it was cool that Eduardo was pale, Nathan was tanner, and then Christopher was dark and the player had a sample of guys to choose from. Guys are handsome in every race, and this was the only game of Voltage's that I could actually find a black character and the fact that he was essentially replaced is sad. I never read his story, but his character was so sweet and helpful in other's stories. This version is just a recycle and it won't live up to the original. New players, enjoy! The game will still be good for you because you won't see the differences, and there's no shame in enjoying it. As for Voltage, shame on you guys.
