  • Relies on false ads for downloads for iOS

If you’re considering playing GoG after seeing an in-game ad, DON’T BOTHER. GoG has been using in-game footage from other games for its ads to entice would-be players to download this weak RTS game. GoG doesn’t include any first person or third person levels, nor are there any zombies in the game. I can’t help but wonder how Apple continues to let this slide? GoG already includes a pretty solid P2W model that requires you to pony up real cash to proceed to any meaningful level. While it’s free to play, you’ll burn up the meager resources initially offered to you very quickly, leaving you stuck unless you agree agree to pay (real) cash for upgrades. I didn’t find the game that much fun to play to begin with. The graphics are bland, some even pixelated because the devs chose to skimp on the graphics. Choose carefully before investing a dime in this dull RTS game.

I leveled up quickly. Started paying for upgrades and equipment to become stronger. Still, can’t be on all the time. Even as part of a large alliance there is no protection. Attacked and wiped out by the same guy every week. No point in rebuilding. The fun is gone. There is no chance for smaller players.

Typical build up kingdoms. A money scheme where you have to purchase stuff to progress and become competitive or you become a farm. Kingdoms of Camelot rip off. Game advertised itself as being a strategic shooter or fps. It's just like the final fantasy game that came out. If you like these kinds of games, by all means, continue playing. It's getting deleted now.

This game is completely pay to win, no strategy involved. Customer service is absolute terrible with actually responses taking weeks to respond. In my honest opinion I would strongly discourage any, and all from playing this game.

The ads that they run is not the way the game is played. They may have legit ads but I’ve never seen one

Think you were downloading some kind of Call of Duty type FPS game? No you aren’t. The ad is a lie. This is a dull farming game. How they are allowed by the App Store to bait and switch is beyond me. Apple and the developers are tossers for allowing/doing this.

False advertising and it is honestly nothing special and again nothing like the ads I have seen.

The ads are fake and the actual gameplay is unbalanced and slow

You have to spend too much money to be competitive and you are only fodder for the high level players. It’s not worth the expense or frustration. Best left to invalids with big credit cards.
