    The app has just suggest me to "upgrade" but it actually downgraded from 2.15.07 to 2.14.04. Model DCS5222L (B)
  • User interface anything but intuitive

    I’ve used a few consumer security cameras like these in the past and the user interface is usually pretty intuitive but this one is not. They’ve tried to pack so many options in the app that they have unnecessarily over complicated the whole thing. I can’t even find the place to adjust my notification settings. Something fairly important on a security camera.

    It works but I personally think the app should be worked on more, seems kind confusing at times. I also hate having to constantly accept terms and conditions every time I log in.

    App constantly signs you out and makes you accept the terms almost every time you open the app. The camera disconnects itself on a regular basis. Skip buying and using the DLink app and camera.
  • Fix the app, please!

    If been using D-Link cameras in my home for years, so it was my choice when purchasing a camera for my parents. I prefer the ease of use of the mydlink lite app, but realized the new camera is only compatible with this version. The alerts for motion detection don’t work, (yes the setting in the app and phone for notifications are set to ON, and motion detection is on, active area set) and every time they open the app it makes them do another “terms of use and privacy agreement” which should only happen once, or when there are changes to the agreement, not EVERY time the app is opened. ALSO, it adds a duplicate of their camera installed every time the app is opened. So when on ‘multi view’ there’s 18 copies of the same camera, all of which appear to be loading... but never open. When I try to delete them it deletes the whole camera and I have to go through the device set up all over again. I really wanted this to be a good experience for them but so far they are not impressed. Please fix these issues! Thanks

    First off, there is no way this app has a 4.5 star rating. I scrolled through 268 reviews and counted 197 that are 3 stars and lower, 71 have 4 stars and above. Looks like someone is playing with the ratings numbers. Old app launches in 6 seconds. New app launches in 30 seconds. New app you will need to launch, select camera, and view camera in portrait before you can go to landscape. Way too many button clicks compared to old. One screed shows my 8 cameras and a different screen only shows 7 cameras. Looks like someone didn’t do a flow chart before they started development. I continue using the old app which is more reliable, does what I need and want, and has a better interface.

    Doesn’t work. Even after an hour on the phone with a very helpful tech IPHONE 10 fast WiFi. Going back to store tomorrow Now you need a special nickname to do a review. What a pain!!!
  • So glitchy!

    First, it often says that too many users are logged in, even though there is just one. Second, it often skips frames and you can see that second count is jerky. Basically it doesn't show everything -- on a 100 Mbps link. Third, the push notifications are only once 5 min by design. Stupidly rare if you're using it as a video nanny.
