App Reviews

  • Great content until it’s not

    By Huckle Cat
I really enjoyed this app when it first came out. Even the subjects that I wasn’t interested in were worth a 3-5 minute look. But lately the daily videos have either been repeats (I just watched the John Keatley studio tour for the third time) or have been short snippets that made absolutely no sense as if someone chose a random 30 seconds from a random video. Since the app really pushes the daily participation and tracks the consecutive days you watch, it’s confounding why they don’t better curate their content offerings.
  • Very nice dose of creativity!

I’m enjoying these helpful videos. I love that they are short enough that I can always find a time to watch. In fact, I am sure I will watch most of them twice. Thanks.

I had blank 30 sec video today and 3 second intro yesterday
  • Great tips

Great way to improve my photography. I don’t watch every day but probably tune in 3-4 times a week and get a short little tutorial. They’re just long enough to get good info and short enough to be bite sized. Really enjoying it.
  • Daily budgets of photography wisdom

I love this app as it helps me learn about photography. I don’t have to decide what to learn , all I have to do it’s open the app and there is a curated topic . Brilliant ! This app pairs great with morning coffee!
  • Awesome app!

I love this app--super easy to use, videos appear right in the app, and it gives me an easy way to learn one thing per day. It even sends me reminders for watching a lesson. I love it!
  • Great concept!

I’ve only participated for two days so far, but this seems like a great app for anyone who has not had a formal introduction to photography and been learning in an ad hoc fashion. So far, I have learned a couple of things, but the explanations were better than when I learned about lighting and cropping.
  • Bologna app

    By dijitul
This is pretty much a full-blown scam app. It appears to be free and doesn’t even show “In-app Purchases” before you download it. Then, you’re asked to log in with your FB or G+ account or use email before you can even sample the content. But it doesn’t end there... or should I say START? The content is just links to videos you have to install ANOTHER app to view which requires a subscription. What a load of misleading crap. This app should be yanked from the App Store. It’s classic bait and switch.
