  • Useless compared to my fitness pal

I started using this app because I thought the interface was more aesthetically pleasing than my fitness pal. I was so excited that I even bought the yearly subscription. After a day I regretted it. The food database is incomplete and not accurate. For example I was tracking for a few days and was wondering why it said my fats were so high...it said a serving of grilled chicken breast had 20 grams of fat.....the scanner doesn’t work either so you’re out of luck if you can’t find. The “rating” gets irritating as well. If you’re trying to center your carbs around when you workout it’ll constantly tell you that you’re off track because your macro distribution. Would also like to see an app that has the option of Meal 1, Meal 2, Meal 3, Meal 4, Meal 5 etc. rather than breakfast lunch dinner snack. Will be going back to my fitness pal. I just wish I hadn’t spent 50 dollars on a year subscription (which adds near no value to the app)
  • not worth the money

I would say there was about a 5% increase of “good” stuff on the app once you paid the $50 dollars to get premium. one reason i wanted to update because the way it was worded i thought i could pick a diet that was also vegetarian. instead, all the diets that were picked for me encouraged me to eat meat (low calorie high fat). theres not even a way to modify the plans with diet preferences or allergies so whats the point?! i cant even use it. such a waste of money.

I really like this app, WAY better than 3 other macros tracking apps I’ve tried. I will say that my protein goal needs to be way higher than what his app allotted me and there’s no way to customize it. So I’m technically like 50g over my protein daily but i know that going into it. Still a bummer though. The app is very user friendly otherwise. The database always finds what I’m looking for.

When I type in something like “spinach salad” I get a zillion results that are pretty unrelated, or show like 1 oz of raw spinach which isn’t helpful. That’s a pretty important feature but is an obstacle to me using this app more often
  • Unable to use the app

I will give it three stars, but I had a big problem. When I opened the app it would immediately crash, so I was not able to utilize the app. Besides that, I’m sure this is a useful tool for anybody trying to lead a healthier and active life.

I decided to try this app since it “integrates” with the Apple Health App which my previous food tracker did not. I like the bar code scanner feature and the GUI is growing on me. The customer service is top notch, I had a concern and they messaged me to educate me on how to use the feature I couldn’t find.
  • No way to export data

This is an excellent front end app. It has lots of food items already available and you can create your own recipes. However, with no way to export the data out of the tool, what’s the point of using it?
  • Love it but!!!!

Needs to be able to read data from the Health app in regards to water drank. Why is this not possible? Disappointed.
