App Reviews

  • Love it

    By mariainbrooklyn
Love this app! So user friendly and it really gets me motivated to eat healthier. I’m fairly conscious of what I eat already - or so I thought - but this makes me think twice before I mindlessly snack on something because I know I’ll have to log it later. I feel full of energy and excited to eat well, which is no small feat! Also love the barcode scanner which makes keeping a food diary so much easier.

I’ve tried three apps so far for tracking my keto lifestyle and I definitely enjoy using this one the most very simple to use and has more features than the other ones I have tried
  • Easy

Love this app. I’ve tried others and this one is easy and fun!
  • Plan system doesnt work for me

    By It's a me pwnz0r
Took the test and I said I was vegetarian and needed high protein for muscle growth snd it gave me the food for strength plan. This plan has meat recipes for it though? Why would it even ask if i eat meat or not if its just going to reccomend meat recipes. I thought it would give me recipes and a grocery shop list(definetly should if you pay a subscription) but it just gives me recipes that dont even align with my diet.
  • Not enough branded food no scanner

    By Nivesj
This doesn’t recognize as many branded foods as carb manager app.
  • pretty app, because database is inaccurate, macros calculated wrong :(

I have been using this app for two months. I really enjoy the looks of it, how fast it feels to log food and create meals. I have been eating keto, so I need my carbs to be low. You have the option of tracking net carbs, but sadly the data is not being processed correctly. For example any keto eater knows an avocado has a low amount of net carbs. about 4 per avocado. this app logs it as 17. it does not minus the fiber despite me confirming that I am tracking NET carbs. :/ so I cannot track my food. chia seeds it says a huge number of carbs. it does not minus the fiber. so basically if you need to know your true macros then this database is not so good. I redownloaded carb manager app today and wow the avocado has less than 4 grams net carbs. now I know I can eat it and not worry. and chia seeds is accurate on that app (carb manager app) too so I recommend switching to a better app and for the makers of this one to fix the data so it is not only an app with good looks. thank you.
  • Gorgeous interface, helpful features, amazing customer support

    By hellotinyhippo
This app is wonderful! And VEGAN FRIENDLY! As a graphic designer, the interface was flawless and easy to navigate. This app makes weight loss a breeze, especially if you pay for a premium membership. I’ve always been satisfied with all facets of the app, but recently had to terminate premium service (to no fault of the app, just a personal decision) and between Lifesum customer support and iTunes, I was refunded the membership fee almost immediately. Please give this app a shot!
  • No features unless you go premium

    By pretty isnt worth it
Pretty, but my fitness pal has many of these features in the free version
  • What’s happening?

I loved the app until it refused to start up on June 21. I don’t want to delete and reload. What gives?
  • Glitches

    By Luna-Grey
This app is good for the most part, except it has been glitchy for me lately. When food is scanned in or even put in manually the macros are way off. For some not all of the foods scanned in. So it’s hard to track everything consumed that day. I do like that you can set your macro preferences and keep track of water consumption. Although I do with it would let you manually input the oz of water drank.
