  • Israel bound

I’ve been studying Hebrew online. I also have some books about it. But by far, The simplest and easiest told that I plan to use when we go to Israel is ITranslate. Because it’s on my phone it’s immediate, convenient and accurate.

  • Spiraling down fast

Why use the same, uninformative description of the (cough, cough) "updates" when nothing changes? Six months of 'updates' whose descriptions are both meaningless and pointless. You should be ashamed. A kid in grammar school could write a better app after reading 'Apps for Dummies' Used to be a decent app... a not so-recent update has turned it into little more than a glorified ad generator. Programmers: Do you think that impresses users? To be bombarded by ads? And the same stupid ads at that? If dozens of users are reporting the same issue, and you can't replicate it in your test environment, wouldn't you think that the problem IS your test environment?? Ever hear of regression testing? Don't bother 'responding' with some canned BS about how sorry you are. In virtually EVERY review expressing a negative opinion, you criticize and tell the reviewer that he/she is wrong, or mistaken, or failed in some way. DON'T BLAME USERS FOR A POORLY WRITTEN APP!! That level of abject arrogance is wholly uncalled for and is reflected in the app bombarding users with ads and other crap. Fix your attitude then fix your app. As an example of inaccurate translations, use a common word, such as 'testy' and pick a language... now reverse the languages, and guess what? You don't get the word you started with... A SINGLE WORD!!!! Repeating this simplistic test with phrases and sentences significantly skews the results, to a point that after several iterations, the English 'result' isn't even close to the original phrase. Don't lecture us on how difficult linguistics and algorithms are... you CHOSE to put this app here. Edit: Why would I bother continually applying the latest releases, when those releases merely churn out more and more pop ups and ads? You have released 24 versions in less than 6 months... that isn't "software development", it is free alpha and beta testing. And a ripoff to people who paid for the subscription. Oh, and I charge $10,000 per hour to 'help' you fix your crappy app - those are MY terms!
  • I love this app and use it constantly, but

    By Jessieleeconner
I’ve been using this all daily for years but recently the ads it has (for its self) has gotten so out of hand that I have accidentally bought a subscription twice just by trying to get out of one ad to another one. It feels scammy and the ads have only been getting worse and worse. Not cool.
  • So helpful and gets it right...or really close

    By SunDevil14
I use this a couple of times/week in my bilingual (French/English) job. It gets tricky or idiomatic translations really close, better than many other programs.
  • Best Translation App. ΛΩ

  • Money money money

Once you register, you get constant pop ups to go pro for a monthly fee. The only function that works in the free version is poke in a question in one language and get the results in another language. The pro version might be worth a short term deal for a trip.
