App Reviews

  • Does not work on 4G

Ridiculous. The app only works on WiFi and that's really silly. I can't get it to load at all when on cellular data
  • App keeps lagging for 10-20 seconds at a time

The app used to be much more responsive, now it jams up my brand new iPhone X. Had to delete the app to get the OS to run better. They’ve always had UI that didn’t quite work well for promoted images and other bugs, but this is affecting the performance of my phone.
  • Do not use unless you like spam calls text and emails

    By Geoworswat
The search function is nice BUT, and this is huge if you are in the job market, if you apply through the app you are automatically giving permission to get spam, robocalls and texts. I started to apply for a job and discovered I had no choice but to accept allowing my LinkedIn contact info to be sent. I cancelled the job application as soon as I realized and didn’t complete applying through the site but it was too late. I immediately received 3 emails from job search list services I never heard of, which I then unsubscribed from. The next day the job search texts began(to expired ads no less started) so sent back STOP. And then the robo calls from pushy education telemarketers started. I told them to stop calling but they just hang up, so am blocking numbers. It’s a huge PIA when you are exploring job opportunities to have so many SPAM calls coming, since you have to listen to see if it’s a callback about a job or another robocall. So DO NOT apply to any jobs through the App, and would recommend just searching through normal LinkedIn and applying directly even though it takes a little longer. I am disgusted and aggravated by this experience with a LinkedIn branded service.
  • Feedback complain

Although a majority of the individuals I have connected with through this app respect the Proper use of the app to connect with others that wish to be connected with. There are a select few that feel this tool is best used for making cold sales calls. My issue is this there is no way in this app to report they are using your email address and emailing you separate of the LinkedIn app in an effort to get you to buy or purchase one of their products. The way they behave on LinkedIn may not violate the terms and conditions but there is no way to identify The problem of a separate email from your connection to the folks at Linkedin so they can’t go about dealing with them appropriately.
  • Just another social media page

    By Melpomm
I found this to be another Facebook with a “professional” quality. Unsecure, and of no value to gainful employment. While perusing comments on the articles in my feed, I found that at least half were the typical social media trolling comments, arguing for the sake of arguing! Quite immature, detracted from the professional aspect of this app quite a bit. Coupled with an article stating that an average of 86% of financial employers now question the validity and trustworthiness of all LinkedIn profiles...well, there isn’t much use for this app as I avoid social media like the plague! And I say unsecure because I allowed my information to be shown to employers & allow for potentials to contact me, and I’m now receiving numerous spam calls & texts a day.

This new version has some bugs with the “back” button when I clicked someone in the search recommendation. The back button disappeared.

  • Terrible, hurts your career

    By Integrity Review
Endless ads, upsells and click bait “recommendations” drown out your connections. Pre-canned “say congrats” spams your network. LinkedIn classes are huge red flag on your resume. Don’t damage all your relationships by uploading email addresses. Each app “update” is worse. LinkedIn responses typically dismisses their problems with empty appreciation/not-really-sorry, misdirects it as “feedback” or hides behind a useless help/tell us more link.

Time waster with no substance or value to employees. Turning into a marketing tool for self-promoters.
  • LinkedIn App All-Time Bug

Hi I’m a multi billion dollar company and my iOS app has a bug where you’re forced to see a video modal that you can’t dismiss.
