Used iMap for the first time this morning. I don't think I will take another ride without it.
  • Good app, but doesn’t work with Apple Watch

Used this app for quite a while and was happy with it. But when I got my Apple Watch, I was surprised to see that this app supports many other wearables but not the Apple Watch. Sadly, I’ve left this app for another which works with my Apple Watch. I feel like this was intentional by UnderArmour to push their own wearable device.
  • Great app!

This used to be a 5-star app and I wrote a review that said so. App used to work great, but since one of the last couple of updates, it loses workouts. To save a workout you click to pause, then click and hold to finish, but then you have to click to save which seems to be an unnecessary step and it seems to be where the app fails when it doesn’t save a workout. Why not auto-save on the click and hold?
  • Work well on one bike

Update 12/2/2017 - app still cannot handle multiple bikes. Now it will not pair with my DuoTrap on iPhone X at all. Strava synched first try on both of my bikes. I want SO badly for this app to work. I like the functioning better than Strava but it is worthless if it cannot connect or robustly manage sensors. Sorry for the one star, but given the length of time I have been complaining about this, I think it is deserved. I wouldn’t care as much, but I paid for this app. Please fix. *************************** I have multiple bikes. I have to delete and then reinstall the app EACH TIME I change bikes to pair my speed and cadence sensors, which are different on each bike (however both are Bontrager Doutrap brand, one is installed in the frame). For my heart rate sensor, MMR+ has a button to 'forget the paired sensor'. Why can't they add this function for other Bluetooth devices as well? Having to reinstall the app each time is a pain because I have to reset ALL of my preferences like voice guidance, display settings and many others. I really like the MapMy suite of apps, but this BT pairing aspect needs to be fixed.

Good app with great info...good for all skill levels. The more cyclists who use it, the better it gets, as new courses are added all the time by the users. Only thing I'm not sure of is stop time: while it does pause automatically at some point, I'm not sure how long that takes. But this is only a minor issue for me; I'm not measuring my performance down to the second. It's great to see where you stack up on courses, and to track improvement. Very easy, no brainer use. I like to delay feature, so I can turn it in but the timer doesn't start immediately so I have time to get gloves, helmet etc on and get down the driveway.
  • Worst app maker not a useful cycling app

As usual the app maker refuses to fix bugs or improve the app making a true cycling app. The profile page stats are all superimposed on top of stats and headlines making it unreadable. I’ve emailed app maker but as usual thy haven’t fix the issue for over 3 months now.
  • Be careful of charges

MapMyride has a very sneaky and dishonest annual auto renewal. I never sign up for auto renewal so I know I didn’t agree to this. No pre charge anniversary warning and no refund policy. I literally cancelled as soon as I received the charge notice from Paypal. Too late according to MayMyRide.

Most of the times I ride it works great! Accuracy for the recorded track seems very good. Accuracy for distance and vertical efforts a bit less. But variance for the same course over multiple rides varies by a couple of percent. Backed up by my odometer measured on the bike wheel. Generally pretty good info.

This app has worked well for me for a few years now. It keeps track of the essentials and you can always upgrade to get more. I recommend it.

For the most part the app works well. It takes a lot of battery power, even when paused during my gym workout. Have never seen the post on Facebook when I have shared it through this app.
