    Give it a couple days to adjust, weeks even. I use the snooze button like it’s a video game but this helps me wake up less cranky or stiff, really saves my bacon going to work on time and not missing out on a good dream

    Tracking my sleep is hugely important to me, and this is a great app to use for it. The alarm has been literally so incredible: it’s a huge difference between feeling super tired and feeling less so, even if it’s only a little bit of sleep. I also love the June redesign; being able to not set an alarm is great.

    TL;DR: app doesn't work as an alarm for me anymore. I've been using Sleep Cycle for years, and it always woke me. I used a gradual wake up with the same sound and vibration. The first night after the update I didn't change any settings and it did not wake me. When I woke up I could not even hear it going off, it simply showed the good morning screen. I experimented with the volume and thought that maybe it had been changed with the update. I went into settings and could not find a volume adjustment and saw that vibration can only be selected as a backup when sound fails or as the primary (not for simultaneous use with sound). I set my alarm to be sound primary instead of backup (since it clearly did not work, I woke up 30 minutes past my alarm time and only because of knocking at my door). This morning vibration failed to wake me. I overslept on a scale of hours (fortunately it was set for an optional time). If a future update resolves these issues, I would consider using it again. For now, it's only usable for sleep tracking.

    I’ve been using this for years and have noticing better sleep when I use it. I wake up with more energy compared to when a regular alarm jars me awake from a deep sleep. I like the new update as well, it looks nice and the animations are solid. Keep up the great work!
  • Latest update has issues on the Apple Watch

    Let me first say I’ve been using sleep cycle since 2014. Overall it’s the best sleep monitoring app I’ve found. But, with this latest update some issues crept in to the Apple Watch side of the app. The app still works but you can’t start or end a sleep session from the watch app. You have to use the phone side app to start and stop. I’m placing this here because I could not find a email link under the help feature in the app or on the website. -update.—I have revived a email from the app developer with their support email address.

    - Heart rate detection takes forever. Also, screen dims while it’s doing it, and if I don’t tap it, it turns off, locks, and I have to start over. - Can’t share graph. Tapping on share simply copies a generic link.

    I liked it much better the way it was. Easy to see, easy to find the information that was displayed, didn’t have to navigate to multiple windows to see things. Not happy. Had this app for years. Might have to stop using it. In your attempt to make it “pretty” you made it less useful and straight forward. Put it back.
  • Good app but one issue

    This app is amazing! After using this app for a month, I have a lot to report. First of all I like how it wakes you up when you are in light sleep so it isn’t as hard to get up. Second of all, I haven’t found another sleep app that gives you as much information as this one. But however, I do have one complaint. One night I sleepy terribly and got up multiple times that night. When I checked my graph the next morning it said I was in deep sleep the entire time. It even gave me a warning saying that there was very little movement which I knew was not accurate. Other than that I have had a good experience. I highly recommend this app to anyone.
