  • Erasing fathers from scripture

Look at what they did to Malachi 4:6. “He will turn the hearts of parents to their children and the hearts of children to their parents, so that I will not come and strike the land with a curse.”

I would give this a 5* review if you would fix the bug that has destroyed the wonderful search feature. The ability to search for X and Y and get all results is awesome! Please fix asap!!

Whoever developed this app did a fine job. It's not like the Life Application Study Bible, but its applicable in its own way. Reading it is the most important part.
  • Excellent

I like the way you have placed the Bible text and I also like the way the extra info is on the side and can move on and off screen
  • useful

This will serve you well, particularly if your are doing academic theological exegesis. The only criticism I have is that Olive Tree charges for every little add on. So much for for alms-giving.
  • What a cheezy $10 ripoff!

    By kencj
This is a shockingly dishonest way to use a Bible to schill products. The App seems to serve no other purpose than selling stuff. For example, after opening the Bible, one is directed to “Get more related verses”. Rather than showing similar verses, it shows a list of books, beginning at $15, by the same publisher, with the heading “Save Up to 70% Off Our Hottest Titles!” There’s a “Library” link as well, which directs to to the “Olive Tree Store” with another list of their products for purchase. This is a great example of the money changers in the temple and another embarrassment to Christianity. By the way, CCEL offers the NRSV free.
  • Love the it saves notes

    By Inura
When you register is saves all your highlights and notes. Great for when you really need the word, in the middle of whatever you are doing wherever you are.
  • Olive tree app

This app is exactly what I needed and more. I have it in the new revised standard version and also an English version which was given with the previous app. This was more than what I imagined I would get for the small amount of money I spent. It also makes the Bible more readable.
  • BAD app
