Why did you remove a user’s ability to manually forward and reverse music playback?? Put this important feature back in ASAP!!
Thank you for adding iPhone X support!!

Excellent quality music at 320kpbs and lots of good monthly shows..!
Listen everyday all day
Been a DI supporter since release. Love the music and the app! It’s my goto for electronic music. Thanks for adding iPhone X support - looks great!
Still no improvements
This app used to be decent but now they changed things and the music selection is horrible. Rather then being "live", now all the songs start over from the beginning like pandora. Not sure this is a pro or con. Another huge annoyance is they still refuse to make a layout for iPad's, so the app looks horrible stretched up. They claim more charges are coming for the better but so far they just keep making things worse and still haven't addressed the basics like iPad support that everyone is asking for. I wrote this review a year ago and just went to try app again and nothing has changed. Why would I ever pay a dime to a service that is not listening to their customers feedback!!!
Horrible, forced, Pandora like update!
They forced me to update to the latest version of their app and now I am no longer getting a live digital broadcast of any station!
Now it’s all pandora like curated playlists. This goes against the very reason why i have listened to digitally imported for so long.
Now they are forcing you to this new platform which I (and from the looks of it many others) do not like!
It all started going downhill when they removed the community forums for open discussion, on the music we were all listening to TOGETHER!
Some of us want to listen to a live stream, and others may want a curated playlist. Thus the option to CHOOSE which way we want to listen should be available.
Luckily a few other iOS apps will still support the 3rd party player streaming links and will continue to use those apps to listen.
Once (if) they kill that, I will be cancelling my membership of 7+ years for sure.
I really hope they turn some of the choices they made around and give us more flexibility on how we want to listen.
Love the App, but need an iPad and Apple Watch version
By Dr Dan Dungus
I’ve always loved Digitally Imported, first the website, then the iPhone App. Been listening since it started. But times have changed, and the app for DI on my iPad was just the iPhone version, which recently stopped working altogether. I’d like to see an iPad specific one. On top of that, it be nice to get an Apple Watch 3 DI App, so I can leave the phone behind when I go workout. Only reason this isn’t five stars is just because of the two things I mentioned.
Loved this app. Updated, but it just keeps asking me to update over and over without being able to use the app.

I love it, hope I could have it on my Apple Watch.
Used to be a must-have sub
I don’t honestly know what is going on. iPad app has been coming for at least three years, allegedly. Apple Watch app most likely never at this rate. CarPlay has been promised, but that is MIA as well. No Android Auto app, again promised but not realized.
Change in how the music is streamed, grandfathered sub rates eliminated. Apparently they are so hard up for money now asking for investments without an actual benefit. Working apps would have been a start. I was a premium subscriber for almost a decade, but decided to move on. I can’t justify $100 a year for a company that makes empty promises, doesn’t listen to subscribers, and raises rates for even their long-time subs.
It’s so disappointing. And I mean that wholeheartedly. DI, I recommended you to everyone and I no longer can.
Go back to your roots

This app/website used to be so great. Now it just turned into Pandora.
Bring back the option to listen to a live stream of music, without having to start a whole new song from the beginning.
Because of this, I will stop paying for DI and move back to Pandora, since it’s cheaper and does the same thing.
One of the many things that attracted me to this service was the ability to experience so much music without having to start from the beginning.
On top of that, the app became very buggy. Stops and starts and goes to the next song, destroying my good mood.
Bye bye Digitally Imported. You were good and unique while it lasted. I won’t be back and won’t be paying for premium service (like I have for years) until you get back to your roots and let us listen to live songs, rather than the Pandora way of listening to an entire song from beginning to end.
I can live with the bugginess of the app, so I’m not contacting IT support.
