  • Really does seem like magic, but no composer tag

    By MW Huntster
I installed Plex on my PC and iPhone for a while because I found other ways to stream music from my hard drive to be unreliable or complicated. You install Plex and it quickly finds all media files on your computer - no need to direct it to folders. All the music on my drive appears on my iPhone with tags intact. All album covers are shown, and each artist now has a helpful little bio. This is all with absolutely no effort on my part. Streaming on a wifi network from the computer to the phone, and from the phone to the stereo using Airplay, always works without a hitch. The user interface is attractive, powerful, well-organized, and easy to use. Everything happens smoothly and promptly - no pauses or glitches. The problem is with classical music: there is no composer tag available! I switched to MediaMonkey.
  • No customer support at all

    By Rehimahhhhh
I’m so disappointed. Worst app and service ever. Very confusing and there is no direct guide at all. For example, I am having a problem accessing the server when I’m not home. In troubleshooting it said “ensure that remote access has been successfully enabled for the server” but it does not explain how and where to find remote access! So you have to go all through their website to find it! That’s ridiculous
  • Great product

    By TerryRBG
I enjoy Plex very much on several of my devices — Dell computer, Sony smart tv, LG smart tv, iPad, RCA tablet, and LG cell phone.
  • Problems when repeating a song

    By jfarjona
If you listen to a song in repeat one mode, it hangs and stops playing. You can press on play and any other button, nothing works. Only solution is to restart the app.
  • Won’t work on iPads

    By Bgl84
Whenever I try to log into my account I get “User could not be authenticated”, despite being able to log in on my other non-iOS devices.
  • Should be 5

    By Siggy101010
If there was an option to sync without transcoding videos, this would be 5 stars
  • Tv os latest :(

    By KE6MTF
Not a fan of the latest Apple TV update. I use several servers regularly. Switching between them used to be quick and simple. Now it is a pain. On top of that it does not stay where I left it. Not a fan of this latest, for the way I use it I quite literally hate it! It looks great and works great. Just bring back simple quick sever selections!!!
  • Best app

    Best app out there
  • Playback support terrible

    By NickGeorge89
Playback support is really bad. Still somehow gets confused on playlist and starts playing multiple things at the same time over each other. No way to stop it besides force quitting app. Happens often.
  • Plex Pass 4 Life

    By Jayce Ares
I have been using Plex from the first month it was released on Windows. Plex has come such an amazing way from the beginning. The app is hands down one of the best Media Players and across all platforms - I got my plex pass lifetime 10 plus years ago and have never looked back. Just wanted to say thank you to the Developers and keep up the good work! With Live TV and Pod Casts and many more added features over the decade, I look forward to what you release in the future.
