  • Why have they still not fixed this app

    Prompts me to “restore my purchases” Every. Time. I. Launch. The. App. Nothing works until I log in to “restore.” Almost a decade of the digital/iPad version down and they still can’t get the app right. The ADS-B 2.0 mandate will arrive before this app ever just works.

    I paid for a subscription, and have been unable to download the issues after many attempts. How Apple allows this app to remain in the App Store is beyond me.
  • NTSB should look into this app’s frequent crashes

    Flying is an excellent print magazine, with insightful tips, stories, lessons, and makes all of us better pilots. This app is the exact opposite. It looses downloads after updates, and dropped ability to view magazines. It flat out doesn’t work.

  • Magazine is Great - App is for the Birds

    The app’s lousy. It’s forever asking me to subscribe to issues when I’ve had a subscription for years. Logging in and out doesn’t help, and I have to delete and reinstall the app periodically. When it works it’s a convenient way to read the magazine, and considering the app essentially does nothing but allow you to open and read issues, you’d think it would be simple to have a stable app, but no. This is been going on for years by the way and shows no sign of improvement. I subscribe to the print magazine so end up reading the issues more often then on my iPad.

    I enjoy the magazine but the AP leaves much to be desired. Just got a new iPad and everything ports over very nicely EXCEPT this darn thing and it’s certainly not the first time. I actually called the magazine support line previously when I had a similar issue and they told me that they couldn’t help as I had bought it through iTunes...?? Really. It asks me if I want to restore my purchases (well yea...), I take the OK option and nothing is restored. Grrrrrr
  • Doesn’t work

    The app doesn’t work for print subscribers. First I wanted to use it and I wasn’t in a place where I have a copy of my print edition. There are three ways to login one of which requires the account label off the print edition. The other two methods, using ZIP Code and email, or your full name and subscription address failed to find my account. Fine. I waited until I got home. i’ve verified my account using my account ID and my email, signed in, but it still won’t let me read articles! A little message window appears telling me to click on the menu, and to select the download button which “will appear“. No download button appears, there is no way to read my electronic issues without buying another subscription. wasted a good 30 minutes on this.
  • Atrocious APP

    Chronic repeated log-ins / verifying subscription info required. Missing issues. Won’t update issues when released. Get this fixed ASAP. Has never worked as advertised- no matter the version of IPAD.
