App Reviews

  • Friendly App, no hitches, good quality presentation

    By Dhmde
I purchased Flying magazine and was happy to get the digital i-Pad version as well. I read some of the negative reviews, and wonder if those individuals have a slow learning curve or if the App was made more user-friendly after those comments. Personally I had no problem downloading the App and registration was a breeze. Once I signed in, I was able to quickly download the most recent issue of Flying, which I could browse easily without having to resize. I’m very pleased with the presentation and with the clarity of the pages. I will probably use the iPad version as my go-to reader and use the printed version as a reference for articles I want to clip out and file.
  • Good app

Wish there was a landscape mode option. **Change your password and log back in if it’s asking you to buy/subscribe when you already have a subscription**

This is the worst app that I have ever used to read a publication. It is clumsy and frustrating, how is it possible to produce a reading app and not make sure that it works in landscape mode? Don’t pay for this product, they don’t deserve your money for this crap.
  • Poorly thought out

The app is unusable. Please don’t waste your money on the digital subscription.
  • Works great

Verified my subscription. Logged in. Restored purchases. Boom, back in business with my new phone. Love the magazine. Love it more electronically.
  • Does not work?

What’s going on? Stuck on the August issue for about a month now. Will not cycle back to the main screen.
  • Not user friendly

I have subscribed to Flying for 40 years. I like magazines, newspapers and books from the App Store. The magazine is great, the articles are terrific! But when you click on an article you have to zoom in to read it. Then move it 4 times per page. That is nuts! I like to read on my exercise bike and this feature makes it impossible. The app is an afterthought to the paper version.
  • Little Common Sense

    By Y0uknowho
User name is your email. Password is the password you set up when you put in your member number. Almost didn't download the app because there were only 5 reviews. The 5 that wrote a review were too stupid to figure out the app. Very simple if you have common sense and it allowed me to download all previous mags I received.
  • App doesn't work at all

    By lschmidt66
I'm a current subscriber and the app doesn't work. No matter what way I log-in (account number, e-mail, address...) it doesn't give me the option to download the magazine. Customer service's only response is to erase the app and download it again, which also doesn't work. Don't waste your time.
  • Terrible Customer Service

    By TJHOFF716
Charged twice for subscription. Several attempts to contact CS, no response. Stay away and save your money.
