    This app is amazing. It records well most of the time and is great when you want to compete with friends or fellow athletes. Only one time did it have a hard time on the auto stop & go feature, but it was slow technical mountain biking. So, I give this app a 4 star. (I have used it for over a year now)

    Update || I still love this app and I still give it 5 stars. However, full disclosure, something appears off related to mileage and elevation on the Apple Watch series 4. It seems like data and elevation is not being recorded, perhaps missing ... or something. I thought my miles were getting longer and they are, sort of. The GPS lags and catches up (sometimes) later forcing you to complete longer courses than intended as a byproduct. Also, the GPS appears to become “stuck” on hills. I have observed this for about a week now. I have completed almost half a mile, while the app is still on .8 of a mile. Ironically, the self correcting mileage appears not to work anymore so you are stuck with however the data is analyzed. Also, the elevation appear off. I ran two hills and the run stated zero elevation gain. The graph depicts a flat course. Absolutely not the case. Ran a parallel trail route the previous Monday and was given 10 elevation gain even though the elevation was far less obvious. In addition to that, I ran a trail course where the elevation was “every other mile” the same course, if that makes sense. When I review the elevation I was surprised how low it was since i have ran the course for years. I also noticed the graphed hills analysis appeared to be missing data or chopped off some of the elevation. I noticed this on a previous run as well. I ran a mile or a track and thought, this is too short to be a mile. But it was. Now, it is all coming together. I love LOVE Strava, but I have been running for years. A mile has a certain “feel” unless you are in a race where the adrenaline can psychologically reinterpret distance. Something is off and I cannot really tell where. It’s not the Apple Watch because I ran with the Activity app and it was perfect. The turn around or half way mark and ending location what spot on. In the end, I L O V E the community. So for now, I have not idea what is what. Hey great team of Strava developers, please fix this. _________ Quintessentially the best running app on the market. You work hard during your workouts. Now let Strava interpret your data and scientifically visualize your effort to its core and help you reach your goals! It has been a very long road arriving here (I have owned every Apple Watch series except 0) but it seems all the bugs are worked out with the series 4. Series 3 is good but the nuanced changes in series 4 make it great! Now, neither app nor device appear buggy or plagued with issues. I can now focus on my running because everything works seamless. I look forward to the interpretational data from my run as much as I enjoy the run itself! Strava’s deployment of GAP is really fascinating, accurate, and is why It is exemplary from all other apps. - Only add trail running option please?! Thank you Strava developers. 💯🌟💫
  • Watch app does not record HR

    Purchased a new Apple Watch series 3 (no cellular). HR tracks about 25% of a given Ride or run. 75% of the time is a flat line until it ‘wakes up’. GPS still records accurately the whole time. I thought it was my watch and Apple did diagnostics and said it is fine. I Tried the apple workout app today and it recorded HR perfectly. I’m a premium paying subscriber and expect more.
  • They keep charging me.

    I think I have it finally worked out, but I learned the hard way that even after I thought I had cancelled my subscription, it kept showing back up on my credit card. Emails would appear on my app but not on my actual email. You would think they would cancel the subscription themselves, but you have to go through iTunes. The app itself was really neat but the actual distance was not accurate. On trail runs it was way off. Their are free apps that work a lot better.
  • Voice announcements

    Please get rid of the robo voice and bring back the female voice. I’m not sure why you changed it but it’s awful. I can barely hear him over my music when running. I’m going to have to switch over to another running app and I’d rather not do that as I really enjoy using Strava. Multiple people have requested this and it gets updated often. Please fix. Thanks!
  • Auto pause doesn't work

    New update is broken - i can no longer edit my activities, it takes a very long time for activities to load up. Very disappointed
  • Love Strava not sure about the app

    I have the annual premium membership. I've used the Apple Watch app to record about 150 runs over a year and a half. The App is not getting better over time. Everything from longer load times that result in crashes to sync problems plague the current app. :(

    This is an all around great fitness app! I should like to see some improvements with the Apple Watch app. It'd be great to have the option of changing what is displayed on the watch face!
  • Still a problem

    I don’t know whether it’s Strava, iOS12 Health app or WatchOS5 Activity app but calories from Strava workouts are not flowing to either Health or Activity. The workouts appear on Health and Activity but not the calories. I’ve done all the typical fixes including reinstalling Strava but the problem persists for both my wife and I. Hopefully either Strava or Apple or both will address this.
