T2 Mood Tracker App Description

Mood Tracker allows users to monitor their moods on six pre-loaded scales (anxiety, stress, depression, brain injury, post-traumatic stress, general well-being). Custom scales can also be built. Users rate their moods by swiping a small bar to the left or to the right. The ratings are displayed on graphs to help users track their moods over time. Notes can be recorded to document daily events, medication changes and treatments that may be associated with mood changes, providing accurate information to help health care providers make treatment decisions.

  • I like the customization

Love the customization aspect to track nuanced behaviors and use the language of the client. Waiting to gather enough data to capture a report.
  • Couldn’t be better

    So helpful!
  • Very Useful

This app has been very helpful for therapy sessions for major depressive disorder and PTSD. I’m able to email my results to my therapist, and it helps us to focus on specific areas of concern. It is also nice to track my progress. Getting better has been such a slow process, that I sometimes don’t think I’m improving at all. Looking back at my graphs, however, shows a slow and steady improvement, which gives me a little hope.
  • Broken?

I downloaded the app and for the slider options I see a jumble of letters and numbers instead of actual words. Not sure what caused this as I JUST got the app.
  • Easy and customizable

    By AliasInc
Just what I needed. Love that it is customizable. A few tweaks and it fit my tracking needs perfectly, filling a critical gap in my care. The app (even the customization) is intuitive. Definitely 5 stars!!
  • Confusing Constructs

    By NoleSri
The idea is commendable, but the ratings and constructs are ambiguous. There are no easily distinguishable marks when you use the sliders and there are no anchor points to help you. Also for each default category, the subcategories are specious and doesn't difficult to conceptualize due to how many are similar.
  • Not helpful

The reminders don't work, but it does make a graph of your moods, even the irrelevant ones.
  • Love it, but Reminders don't work

    By pdxsquash
I love this app, but the reminders, which worked at first, stopped working after a few days. Reminders are key, because who's going to remember 2x/day on their own? Fixing that would make it 5 stars.
  • Customizable and great big picture

    By FurbyPhilosophy
Great app so far in careful tracking of daily moods, symptoms, coping, and lack of resilience or meltdown scenarios so don't get stuck in the reactive moments without a clue. Get to recognize and practice coping as learn triggers that lead to emotional volatility.
  • I wholeheartedly recommend

I am a mental health professional and a survivor of childhood abuse and neglect. I use this for my own self care and also use this with clients I treat. Definitely not a substitute for therapy but works to help oneself do a mental status update in between sessions. Love the historical graphs too. Best mood app out there.
