  • High marks

Relief from repetitive drivel I get from US papers. Much more coverage of the world, especially what the Sovs are up to.
  • It’s not fancy, it just works

    By Tuad
I’ve had this app for a few months now, and it hasn’t failed me yet. It loads fast. It’s easy to scan the headlines. What more would I need?
  • Useless search function

    By Confused as ever
It would be nice to have a magnifying glass icon somewhere obvious. That’s how search works everywhere else.
  • The best news app

    By cd1243567433263
Read it in full every day. Nothing but the best.
  • Content terrific

Enjoy the writers of sport. Particularly soccer (yes, soccer!). Also, the money segment as well as governemt developments. The Game podcast is terrific as well. Thoroughness appreciated in the writing.
  • Excellent app

It's very user friendly and the journalism is excellent. As an American, it is always interesting to read an alternative take on the news from across the pond.
  • First amongst equals

I subscribe to several global newspapers. Without a doubt the Times app is the best of the best. Easy to use and navigate and regular updates.
  • Excellent app

I read the Times fully, almost daily through the app. It works very well on my iPhone 8. The iPad version has a slight feel of the paper version, which I like. I especially find doing Sudoku on the smartphone works well, unlike the web version which never seems to work properly. Overall my preference is to read the paper on either my smartphone or iPad, both versions of the app working well. Highly recommended.
  • Objective, high quality journalism

I read the Times for high quality, objective journalism that keeps me informed. It describes in a critical and thought provoking way all sides of the story and issue. No fake news here!
  • Very good journos. Shame about the boss.

Like the last reviewer I live in California and appreciate the quality of the Times’ journalism and contributors. I read the comment section pretty much daily. It almost allows me to square the fact that Murdoch operates Fox News. But not quite.
