  • Ability to Resume Workouts?

    By HowGee
Love the app, it's almost perfect. My only gripe is that workouts "close out" if left idle in the background for a while, with no ability to resume them. For example, if I receive a 15-minute call in the middle of a workout and later return to the app, I can't continue where I left off, forcing me to start a new workout. Could you please add a resume functionality for workouts?

App works well. Remembers prior workout data Workouts can be exported for long term tracking but export format is clunky and painful to use App does crash and forget data mid workout about 1 in 4 times. This is unacceptable Also insisting on 5 star reviews is a sure way to get 3 stars and a mddling review

DO NOT BUY!!! They’ve replaced what was once genuine & honest about this program into a cash making cow. They milk there existing loyal customer base with these “must have” in-app subscriptions”. If you don’t upgrade to the additional $40.00 bucks per year upgrade, the app will nag the crap outta you. Since the update the apps only purpose is pushing you to upgrade. Half the features in the program won’t work without the subscription upgrade including some really important workouts (the bread & butter put muscle on exercises and workouts). Without the good stuff the app is cheesy. It doesn’t hold a candle to Gymnotize which now features AR demonstrations. Doesn’t hold a candle to Fitness Point not Full Fitness. This app is not worth the investment I promise. Check out the apps mentioned above. Good luck and happy lifting my fitness and health family.
  • Deceiving

So i paid for the app thinking it comes with all the features but it’s just for the basic version. I want my money back ASAP. Maybe say you still need to subscribe for the full version smh. This app is trash
  • Good app but not perfect

    By Gustafson627
Ive used this app JEFIT and Nike Training Club. NTC’s interface is superior to Fitness Buddy but the workouts and plans in Fitness Buddy are better. JEFIT is just not good at all. Some gripes I have are that once you start a workout through a plan its on a timer. If you take longer than the timer allows you cant swipe back to go to the exercise you were doing. The interface for the workouts from a plan are for some reason different than the workouts available for you to do on your own. Im sure theres logic behind this but you should have the ability to choose the interface you want. The workouts as part of the plan are also very long. The app says they should take 40 minutes but thats not possible on my plan which has at least ten exercises with 4 sets and a minute break in between each set.
  • $30 a year, not $4

This app tricks you into having all this functionality only to require a subsequent subscription of $30. you get some of the features with the initial buy, but none of the ones that make the app attractive in the first place
  • Fee

So you pay for the app just so you can open it? Because you fill out all of the info and then you have to pay again in order to access “your plan”. I realize it stated “in app” purchases but why not just raise the price of the initial install for the basic plan. Probably because most people won’t pay $15.00 for an app, but $3.99 sounds ok. Until you realize that $3.99 gives you absolutely nothing. Thanks anyway.

  • Poor advertising

You pay $4 to download the app but what it doesn’t tell you is you still have to pay for a subscription on top of that!
