This is nothing more than a Bible--which is readily available FREE. To get commentary or any dialogue, EVERYTHING is an upgrade for more money.

I was looking for something to help me read through the Bible in one year (as the title suggests) with a little bit of devotional thought. The app is the opposite... One short verse per day. I was also disappointed that after paying 9.99 I would have to additionally purchase the Bible in order to study further from the app. I wish I had shopped around more before purchasing. The devotions are nice...It's just not what I needed.

A great way to start the day. Helps focus my thoughts on Peace from God instead of the World
  • It's for a quick inspirational thought.

I have a couple deeper devotionals that I read and love (Oswald Chambers and Charles Spurgeon). I wanted to include something however that would be more relational to me as a woman, wife, and mother. This is simple, therefore everyone could read it. It includes a passage for you to read everyday from the bible and then a relevant devo for you to ponder.
  • Awesome-very instructional and encouraging

I have had problems since the update. I lost one of the devotions that I had (extended scripture reading) and paid for another one and can't access it. The company has been responsive and my problem is being researched, but I am a bit disappointed.
  • Love this app!
