    Why is offerup down?
  • Location wrong

I started using offer up this week, great to seek my kids stuff but I’m not giving 4 stars because does not show the right item location or my location. Keeps showing the name of another village next mine that has nothing to do with my zip code or my gps location. Because I couldn’t find a solution in the help I have to keep changing the posts.

Please add a form to delete multiple items on the saved boards and also delete the board as well. Add different states to search instead of distance by miles???
  • Love Offer Up! Here’s my suggestion.

One of the reasons why I choose Offer Up over CL or any of the other online type selling platforms is the fact that it’s people selling their items, not dealers. The car/truck/motorcycle section is becoming so flooded with dealer post/over posting that it’s harder and harder to find what you’re looking for. It’s a solid resource for them as well so I don’t think they shouldn’t be allowed to post. Maybe throw in a “by owner or by dealer” tab to filter? In my opinion, it would be a huge improvement. Thanks, Kyle

You can sell things you don’t want anymore to other people who do want them like maybe it’s a book you don’t read anymore maybe people have been looking for that book you can sell it and they would buy it from you it is a good app I suggest Getting this app you can buy stuff and sell stuff
  • Good sales

Nice app more than happy to buy and sell things too bad it’s getting full of spam people like Craigslist there’s too many cars and things for sale that they just want to get you information
  • Terrible experience for buyer and seller

On Thursday I, sold a pair of shoes through OfferUp. Offer of said that once the offer been excepted they would send me a label for prepaid shipping and I had to get the package in the mail within three days. Not business days, mind you, but calendar days. Excepted the offer, and… No label. Nothing in my email, and when I tab in through the app to retrieve it it comes up with a blank page that says sorry unknown error. I contacted their technical support through twitter (recommended for faster service) which got back to me more than 24 hours later. This is problematic, because my post office closes at noon on Saturday-meaning I wouldn’t be able to ship it out within the three day time. Desperate times, I ordered my own shipping label through the USPS. Offer up tweeted me back, saying “hey if you use your own label we’re not going to pay you.” I pointed out that their website and app we’re both preventing the ability to properly generate a label and they didn’t respond. So I mailed out my package on time, and have been communicating with the buyer about the ridiculousness. Writing review now, because about 10 minutes ago I finally got an email from them, saying that because of the error, the buyer would have to buy the shoes again and I would generate a new label that way, otherwise they wouldn’t be able to process any payments. In the meantime the buyer has new shoes, and I have nothing but a growing frustration with this service. A phone number is necessary to resolve issues quickly. I won’t use this service again, and I recommend you don’t either.
