  • Handy companion when attending a game or for a quick check-in

    By Mad sharki
This is my third year using At Bat. I use it when I am attending a live game so that I can hear the play by play in my ear since we don’t get to hear commentary on the game in the stands. The radio broadcast is almost always significantly behind but that’s usually ok since it gives me a chance to see a play, talk about it a little with my companion, and then hear what the commentators say when they see it. When I am at home or in the car, I like to be able to pop in to check scores, see replays, or look up stats while I’m watching the game on TV. The audio quality seems to come and go. Sometimes the ads are extremely loud, other times extremely quiet. I especially appreciate having the radio broadcast available when a game is blacked out due to a Facebook Live broadcast. I absolutely can’t stand to watch on Facebook, their commentators are a joke. I love having the option to listen to my quality radio broadcast. I don’t appreciate the fact that I am paying more than I did 3 years ago, but I still use it enough to justify paying the price anyway. I would pay even a little more if I could actually watch a game on the app, but I’m not going to pay the price so I’m out of luck there.
  • Was Great, Crap Now, Should Be Free

Whatever you did to this app after the first few weeks of the season was not good. App buffers, chops and fails about once an inning. I have Verizon, 35 mbps WiFi at work and 25 mbps WiFi at home and the app won’t work properly. I’ve deleted and reinstalled on all devices. Worked great the first two years I bought the single team subscription and I’d really like my $90 back this year. Very very dissatisfied!
  • Watch app doesn't update

    By _ŒÂ◊
It says there are no scheduled games today. There are 14 upcoming games today.
  • Getting worse with every update

This app goes into “offline mode” about every 30 seconds. You have to click an “ok” button to acknowledge (what? How is that possibly an issue that requires interrupting the user?). After the, you have to force quit and reopen the app and it works fine. This happens to me on a 100% great connection - no other apps are offline - 15 to 20 times a day. For something that I pay more than $100 a year to use, and have never had a problem with before this year, it has been incredibly frustrating.

Love the app BUT can’t stand that every time I click the calendar mode in upper right hand corner on my iPhone X the entire app crashes. Otherwise it’s great but this is worth a two star deduction
  • Waste of money

    By I was ripped off!!!!
I decided to pay the $80 yearly subscription because my cable company doesn’t carry ATT SportsNet, but only to discover that every game is blacked out both home and away. It does matter if I am traveling out of state or using VPN, the blackout appears to be at the national level.
  • Things that make you go hmmm.

I am a little confused as to why I paid to watch live, when all games I try to watch are restricted due to “black-out”. Not sure what I actually paid for.

I love the MLB app! Please add the player’s AVG to the lineup list like shown for the bench players
  • Bad!

No good. Waste of time and money. Too many ads yahoo has more info and more videos.
  • "Offline mode"

Constantly get that annoying message when I open the app. Even if I'm connected to WiFi. I have to disable then reenable WiFi in order for it to work. Please fix.
