  • Major Bug

Every time I train in “Who Knows Where”, I break open a stone full of fragments. Before the game, I’ll have, say 700 fragments. After playing for sometime, I get to 850, and then I die. When I go to the forgery to purchase new upgrades, I can’t, because somehow, the 150 fragments that I earned weren’t processed. This is very frustrating, because I cannot continue playing if I can’t earn fragments through “Who Knows Where”.

….This game is masterful. I’ll leave the rest for you to discover when you make the purchase.
  • Not engaging

I’m not a big gamer, so I suppose I’m just not the target audience. Overall, the gameplay had absolutely nothing unique about it. (The only exception being the overhead narration, which was entirely unnecessary and I turned it off just a few minutes into the game.) The art was good, though!
  • Not Very Fun

    By Stephen Guise
The graphics are great, but the story is poorly told and the gameplay just isn’t very satisfying. I seem to be alone in a sea of positive reviews—and I do see the appeal—but I really wish this game was more fun. I played with a 360 controller, by the way, which worked flawlessly on my Mac Air. I think the reason I didn’t like it is because battle is not strategic in the way it should be. It’s both chaotic and formulaic, and feels like you’re grinding through enemies just to move forward to the next set of enemies. The best games knows how to “hide” this feeling. The quirky presentation was an interesting experiment, but it didn’t work for me. It’s more of a gimmick than a benefit to storytelling, and I felt like the narrator kept referencing people and places I’ve never heard of… The presentation is very polished, but underneath is a pretty shallow game. I couldn’t even tell much of a difference in battle when I applied enhancements to my weapons. All in all, I think this game is more for casual gamers than hardcore gamers. Oh, and I hate how the ground is placed in front of you as you move forward. It’s distracting.
  • $14.99 Isn't Enough

Beautiful, captivating and imerssive from the word go. The game's pace is constantly changing and keeping you interested. From the magnificent hand illustrated environments to the amazing audio engineering achieved. A truely enveloping effect. This is the pretty version of Sin City by Frank Miller, I can't wait for their new release 'Transistor'. Huge respect for this team.
  • Good game, but the controls need work.

I actually like the game for the most part, but it is extremely difficult to move around. The controls need to be reworked.
  • Gorgeous!

The game play experience is infallible! I noticed some negative comments about the lack of controller support. I use a PS3 controller without issues. You can't go wrong with Bastion. This is definitely one of my favs. Great job Warner Bros. *System* Mid-2011 iMac 2.7 GHz 4 GB RAM
  • Flooring Issues

    By CynicalWolf
This game is amazing, however since the begining of the game, I haven't been able to see the floor. This is a problem since I keep falling off and dying, and I have no clue where to go. I'll gladly raise the rating when the bug is fixed!
