I love the new look, it takes me back to when I was a kid and the excitement of collecting baseball cards with the anticipation of opening packs and hoping for a player from my favorite team. I do have one problem with the app. They need to set up the contest base on your levels or card levels that can be used so those who don’t spend a ton of money can have a chance at winning rare cards. Bugs and errors abound, should still be in beta
The app was at least stable — disappointing with the heavy emphasis on pay-to-play features this year, but still stable — until the latest update. Since then it’s been a gauntlet of server errors (“Oops! Something went wrong”), bugs (e.g., images randomly swapping out, the Fusion feature serving up random players for the ones you’re actually trying to fuse), poor UI design choices (e.g., impossible-to-read text, app-bloating bells and whistles in place of functioning tap targets), and other disappointments in what for years has been a fun, addictive little baseball app. I really hope that Topps can come to the rescue with a functioning, lighter-weight update, but am not holding my breath given how much excess they seem to have crammed into this one. At the very least, they should be releasing fixes far more regularly.
Ready to melt
I enjoy collecting baseball cards so this is a fun app for me over all. The reason for the three stars is because the app makes my device get quite warm. I’m concerned this will lead to damage to my iPad.
Update: wonderful fix. My iPad no longer gets over heated because the app no longer works at all. Great job!!!!

This could be a great app. The idea of contests is great, but there are RARELY opportunities to trade you prize tickets for cards. The last drop was two months ago! Why play?
Instead of fixing bugs with slow loading, Topps introduced even more graphic content to slow down load times even more. No one cares about graphics: we care about user experience.
Trading is only for high rollers: no one trades anymore for cards older than a week from drop. You had better have this week’s hottest card if you’d like to trade.
“Fusion” is awful. Last year, you could “meld” a number of a player’s cards for the next level up of that same player’s card. This year, you “fuse” five cards for a random player’s card for the next level up. Yes, that means you can “fuse” 5 Mike Trouts for 1 Homer Bailey.
I deleted the other 7 Topps apps a while ago. This one is closing in on being the last.
Can’t Do Anything
I downloaded thinking it would be fun to collect digital cards, since I collect real cards. Installed fine and booted right up. Problem is, I can’t get it to respond. I can go to different categories, but I can’t get it to respond when I touch different icons on the screen. It asks me to register with valid email. I click it and it asks to agree to terms, which I can check. Then it asks to use Facebook, which I don’t have or want. I’ve found no place for an email address. Is the only way I can have full access to the game is to have Facebook? If so, then I’ll have to sit this one out.

This game is awesome but it is almost impossible to play now. I can barely get it to work. Almost every time I’m loading something it takes a really long time and then glitches out saying that an error occurred. Please fix this. Great game but can’t play it after the new update.
BUNT Is BUGGY!

BUNT Ver. 9.0.8 • iPhone X • iOS 11 4.1
REDUCED STAR RATING FROM 5 to 2, due to NUMEROUS BUGS in new version 9.0.X, finally rolled out yesterday.
I generally hate fancy, shiny, “modern” app looks, but after using this new ver. for two days, I like the look.
What I HATE are the bugs:
1.) Mostly, not being able to CHANGE contest players as games begin and end. Especially if you’re lucky enough to change one, say Daily Fantasy, then you can’t go and change Best of Bunt right next. You have to leave the app, wait at least five minutes to allow the app to reset, then you might make the connection to adjust Best of Bunt (but again, probably have to leave the app, wait, and reopen to adjust All You Can Get).
2.) The time-out, “Oops, something went wrong” pop-up, probably due to LACK OF SERVERS on Topps’ side!

3.) Claiming Free Cards is very squirrelly: I think Topps may be larding on high value “free” cards to claim, to mollify us disgruntled users! But three times in a row? And I can’t check if I did indeed receive multiple high value cards, because the sort feature, “Acquired by date” can’t be activated.
I’m sure they’ll fix these glitches will eventually, but from my point of view, currently it Is a POORLY PLANNED ROLLOT!

BUNT Ver. 8.5.10 • iPhone 6s • iOS 11.3.1
My same phone as last year, I’ve got to replace it soon—Its battery is dying.
BUNT has gotten better, virtually no bugs. The only bug has been occasional freezing of contest cards when choosing your fantasy teams.
The new FUSE system of swapping low boost cards for higher is good, although in the back of my mind it seems kind of “expensive,” in cards and maybe actually real money, with a 5-for-1 FUSE exchange rate.
So I’m raising my star rating from four to five, and taking “buggy” out of the headline.

The app seems to have gotten straighened out: I got all my pending contest awards, and seem now to claim each reward without having to ask for it.
So I'm raising my stars from two to four. If it keeps on good, I'll raise it to five.

I hate to give BUNT a low rating, but sorry guys, your app is (or at least has been) very buggy up to now (You dropped a new version yesterday, so maybe this only applies to Ver. 7.1.3).
I play Around the Horn, do well, mostly win prizes, but not awarded them properly! App says "You didn't win a prize in this contest", like yesterday, when I came in #62 with +2,032 points, and I've got a support request in with BUNT right now for that.
Lately, this has been happening REGULARLY, as in EVERY DAY! It's not fair to have to fill out a complaint form each day.
Most every time, I find my app has been corrected, and I receive my correct prize, but lately, have hat to request it each day.
BUNT, please read and then FIX!
