  • The new version ruined it . . .

    By KangaMulligan
The new version makes me have to work harder to get easy information. They also want $ .99 Per Month to upgrade it so I can get information I was already getting in the old version. Ugh! If I remember right I paid around $12.00 to buy this app. I’m very disappointed and will be searching for an app that gives me what I want. The new version does not work for me.
  • Subscriptions strike again

    By Jdigs88
It’s a shame. I bought the pro version of this app now they went subscription and I don’t have access to the features anymore. No one wants subscriptions for every app on their phone. It’s a bad model and I refuse to participate in a subscription economy. Think twice about putting your hard earned money down for a lazy developer every month. In my experience it encourages mediocrity in the developer and they enter a cycle of ignoring current customers in pursuit of new customers. Anyway you look at it subscriptions only benefit the developer.
  • Update Great but Needs Some Work

    By IgDrig
The hazard map with the polygons were removed for some reason, and no not the Overlay Map, I’m referring to the map that was included in the alert text. Also this update stated not all alerts will notify me? Winter weather advisory, wind advisory have sent me no push notifications. ***Update*** Thanks for the reply, yes the users like having all alerts notify the user. Also please include the hazard map that was included within the Alert Text before. That was a really cool feature

1.28.18 Wow, I bought this app over a year ago and now it is free. But you are asking me to pay for an upgrade to “future radar” and other options. I hope that is a mistake. Also remove the past & future radar from the middle of the app, Annoying.. Help with this would be appreciated considering I paid for this app. 2.3.18; So I get a response from the support people. However this developer needs to do their homework. There are plenty of “Free” apps that have Future Radar and do and have been doing what this app has finally gotten around to doing. But for those of us that paid anywhere from $2.99-$4.99 for this app should be treated different than the so-called free 3 month trial. We paid for this App and those additions should be given to those that have paid if not send us a refund. Because if not lots of people that paid will delete this app and go to The Weather Channel, AccuWeather, NWS, etc, etc. Hopefully this gets read by support and react to faithful subscribers..... 2.9.18: Well I received the same old response, not going to help customers at all. Give the same response about the 3 month free trial and then you can pay for the app Again... VERY VERY POOR POOR WAY TO TREAT CUSTOMERS..!!! If you had something that others had you may be able to have something, but you don’t, read 2.3.18 update, there are plenty of “FREE” weather apps that do all you offer now without paying for.. Suggestion to others—stay away and try back in 6 months when this developer figures out they have lost customers to other apps because of greed.!!! DELETE, DELETE, DELETE 👎👎👎 3.3.18 Nothing changed, still trying to hose customers. This app when buying used to be in the top 10, it goes somewhat free and it is now 38th. Word of mouth travels fast and hosing customers goes even faster. When will the developers of this app wake up..???
  • Maybe it’s not ruined? *UPDATED*

The developers response is excellent news. I increased my rating to 3 stars and plan to increase more once the new version is out. ——————————————————————- I appreciate the response from the developer. But it’s simply not accurate. I did fill out a support ticket. Courtney from support told me that in version 4, Storm Shield was pulling back on the number of bulletins that were sent as push notifications. She even sent me the new list. You’ve removed Winter Storm Watch, Blizzard Watch, Winter Weather Advisory and Dense Fog Advisory, among others from your push notifications. All of these listed are serious issues that can impact travel, plans, etc. But you kept Frost Advisory. We’ve never had school cancelled for a Frost Advisory. We have had cancellations and delays for all of the rest. Half of our state was shut down last week for ice. All that was issued was a Winter Weather Advisory. To get the advisories that are no longer pushed, you have to open the app. That’s not why I bought it and gifted it. If I’m going to have to open the app to get this information, then I’ll just use the free Weather Channel app. ——————————————————————- All of a sudden I stopped getting Winter Weather Advisory push notifications. We had unexpected ice hit in the middle of the day and nothing. I contacted customer support. With their latest release, they have trimmed back the list of advisories that you will get a push notification for. You will get a frost advisory. You won’t get a blizzard/winter storm watch (but you will get a flash flood watch, just not a flood watch?!). More people are killed by ice on roads than by frost. So if you plan on using this app for push notifications, think long and hard.
  • Some annoying issues

    By golfnut1982
Please tweak the location options like before. Uses a lot of battery and an annoying blue warning now appears. Not sure I can let it run all the time like before. Also, the app needs the location arrow to bring you back to your current location when you visit other places. Rearrange your locations would be nice and also a widget. Many features on the old version were better in my opinion. Update: latest version fixed the battery drain. Thanks for the fast update.
  • Love the new features

    By vetsac
Kudos for the new features and continued app updates and bug fixes! Thanks for listening! The weather alerts we get from this app have saved our bacon a number of times now! Love the peace of mind.
  • Paid features not working - solved!

    By musicfan168
I bought this specifically for the lightning strike layer, but after paying for that extra feature, it does not show up on screen. Disappointed. UPDATE: After receiving a response from the developer, I was able to get the lightning feature working. However, it only covers 150mi from your entered location. It would be much improved if you could see lightning across the whole country, and not just isolated to 150mi. Great response and service from the developer!
  • Pay to see Future

    By Jack1946
I was disappointed to see that you now have pay to see future radar in this app.
