  • Suddenly not working

    By NLOhio
I’ve been using this a year. Today, it suddenly started adding a zero to the BALANCE. For example: I got paid, $1500.00. I deposited it. The app showed I had $15,000.00 (I wish). So I wiped out a solid year’s worth of transactions and started fresh- deposited $1500.00. It’s showing I have $15000.00. Sorry—had to delete it.

  • Love it!

I have been using this register for a long time! Very easy to use and have never had a problem! I have used others, but this one is the best! The only problem is me and forgetting to enter my transaction (just like the paper one) Love how it balances it for me! Highly recommend!
  • Worthless

The app continually will not open. Gives “Error failed to load shared accounts” so I deleted it from my other devices. Still get this stupid error. AND it says it supports Family Sharing, yet my husband will also need to download and then pay to upgrade to share the account. HE IS ON MY FAMILY SHARING! So now I’m paying 5.98 and it STILL doesn't do what it’s supposed to do. Completely WORTHLESS! How do I get my money back?
  • Starting to have issues

My wife and I have used this app for over a year. We paid for the upgrade and really like that it syncs across multiple users. However, lately this app has developed issues. First, if you change a scheduled transaction, it re-records them from day one so you have to manually remove the duplicates. Also, it has started to forget scheduled transactions so these have to be recorded manually. Finally it is supposed to remember transaction descriptions to make entering them faster. It often forgets these as well even on frequent ones.

Worse app I ever paid for. Sent email to developer and no answer. Adds my money wrong and very confusing for the average mind. If I could give it less than one star I would
  • Free but not free

A waste. Why not ask for money up front. False advertising on "free" app. Must pay to even add more than one account.
  • App is much better than a traditional check register

App is effective and efficient. I have multiple accounts and I love the ability to document all transactions as they occur. Transactions can sync between multiple devices so if your spouse documents an expense, etc, it is immediately reflected on your device. Great app and very simple to use.
  • Unknown charge

I got charged $1.99 by your App without knowing what it was for. I don't like the fact that there was no warning or opportunity to say no to the charge. What is that for, anyway? Other than that, it's a pretty good app.
  • Does what it's meant to

First time I've written a review. For the $4 to upgrade to premium (which I believe is a one-time fee), it is doing what it says. I ultimately picked this app because the others appeared to be a subscription service for the syncing, whereas this one does not appear to be a subscription. I created balances for my shared checking account and two credit cards. I put the app on two phones and one iPad and I've been able to see the balances for each shared account. I like that I can include my recurring transactions, as that will be helpful in the shared function. The downside so far is really only in the lack of instructions. It wasn't intuitive at all how to edit my opening balance, though I eventually just edited the # that showed on the account display. Getting the access key to allow for the shared account functionality is described well, but is a bit clunky. It would be great if the "register" balance could show the current balance as well as the balance with a forward looking view to include the upcoming "recurring" transactions.
