  • Getting back to working out and running

    By BusyFemaleExec
I am not an avid daily runner. I’m a busy female executive who wants to stay fit and healthy. I also dislike group classes with booming music that doesn’t suit my taste. I have loved loved loved the Spring app... it’s been just enough to keep me distracted and focused on getting in a solid run. I’m not to a good 3 mile run after starting with walking and I credit the Spring app. You can choose the style of music you want or mix multiple styles. If you don’t like a specific song you can disregard it and give it thumbs up to music that you particularly loved. It’s hard to describe- But the app is that perfect nudge to keep you going to the end of the run and to keep you focused during the run. Can’t say enough!! Only idea I have?? Add American Songbook section for Sinatra and classics that may suit an older client or an old soul.

I love the spring app. I have been using it for several years and it keeps improving.
  • Great if you just want to listen to clips of music...

I made my selections and some were decent, based on the bpm. Others weren’t even from categories I chose (Lady Antebellum’s Bartender isn’t hip hop as far as I can tell). When I tried to fast forward I was told I exceeded skips. $80 for what is essentially a music service and I can’t skip multiple songs from artists I dislike. Other apps are free at least and have better and curated playlists. I again gave the app a try today and there was NO audio output. I did some trouble shooting and it was not an issue with my headphones or phone, I played music on other apps after force closing Spring, and when opening Spring again to restart my work out it still had no audio output. Many people talk about how motivating it is to have an appropriate beat with your music while you work out it is quite the opposite to have to stop and wait trying to figure out what is wrong with the app. Also, in none of the times I’ve used the app did the GPS work. I use other running apps that do work, and ensured I force quit Spring to see if it was just a service or phone issue, but it was just a spring issue. I regret this app doesn’t live up to the hype or it’s price tag.
  • Choose a pace and music to match!

Fabulous app for pacing. I recommend it. Try it, you'll like it!
  • I use this app every day

Nothing super flashy here, but I’ve literally used this every day since I downloaded it. Training for a marathon, it’s done a great job at giving me hours of music I like at the bpm I want.
  • More classic country

    By vereep
I use Spring to workout but I don't care for the country music much. I like real county not new country. Go back and get some George Jones Loretta Lynn type music. Love the concept of app and have used it for awhile but some where that music was taken off.
  • Not a free app

    By Nonya03456732
Once again one of those apps that you download and signup with your info first then they lead you to the payment page. Just list with the price from the beginning don’t get my info first! So misleading!
  • Spring keeps me going
