  • Took my Fitbit steps away

    I did the run today for the first time. I enjoyed how it was a walk run combo and I didn’t have to keep watching the clock because it reminded me when to switch. For that I think it is great. After the run, I checked my Fitbit and it was 12K+ steps. When the app synced my steps were reduced to 9K and I CANNOT figure out how to get them back. Could have been a fluke but I’ve deleted the app because that was so discouraging (I am motivated by the steps on my Fitbit).

  • Some technical issues

    I love this app. I’m not a runner so I am in the beginner level. It is a GREAT plan and on my own I wouldn’t be pushing myself enough. Only problem is at times the app fails to sound the cue to move to the next set. This makes me feel I need to watch the screen so I don’t miss it, which I can’t do wearing my phone on my arm. I’m using a treadmill so I’m stationary and I’ve resorted to hand holding the phone so I can watch the program. Hoping it will be fixed.

    Excellent app! I played basketball in high school but haven’t run in years. This app is easy to use (good update recently) and a reasonable accomplishment for someone who is determined to like running finally. I have lost 10 lbs in 8 weeks going by their beginner schedule free version and can run 3 miles with just two minutes of walking where when I began I could not run 1 mile consistently. Again, it has been 8 weeks — this did not happen overnight but I am proud of myself.

    I would like the app to record multiple dates for each level rather than just the last date the level was completed. There are times when I repeat levels for various reasons (i.e. not ready to move up a level, redo an easier level on a “rest” day, etc.) and it would be nice to see all dates I have done each level. Thanks for listening!

    I have the free app. Twice now while using this app my audio timer has stopped working. I have to guess when it is time to run, sprint or walk. I would much rather use a complex interval timer that will consistently work. I like that it tracks my GPS/distance and calories burned. However, not sure if I will continue to keep this app.
