Tile - Find lost keys & phone App Description

Welcome to Tile, the world’s largest lost and found. Tile makes tiny Bluetooth trackers and a companion app that allow you to locate lost or misplaced items in seconds — like your phone, keys, and wallet. Compatible with Tile Mate, Tile Slim and Tile Original. You can order Tiles at http://www.thetileapp.com *Ring your things. Attach or stick Tile devices to anything you don’t want to lose and use the app to ring your stuff when you’re within Bluetooth range. With Tile Slim and Tile Mate you can pick from one of four unique ringtones. *Ring your phone. Can't find your phone? Press any one of your Tile devices to make your lost phone ring —even if it's on silent. *See where you had it last. Keep the app running in the background and it will automatically record the last time and place it saw your item on a map. So, if you left it somewhere, you know where to look first. *Ask others to help. Still can't find your Tiled item? Our “Notify When Found” feature puts every device running the Tile app on the lookout for your lost stuff. If anyone comes within Bluetooth range of your Tile, we'll let you know where it is. This feature is 100% private, so no one knows you're looking for a lost item but you. *Find your phone from any device. Our app turns any phone or tablet into a virtual Tile. Simply download the app on all of your devices — and use the app on one of your devices to find another. Plus, you can use our voice calling feature to call another device from the app — even on silent — to help you get in touch with whoever may have picked up your lost phone.  Notes: * The app utilizes Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) to communicate with your Tiles. The maximum range is up to 300 ft for Tiles Pro 2018. * The app utilizes Location Services to record the last known location of your Tiles, based on your phone’s geo-location data. * Continued use of GPS or Bluetooth running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. Tile Premium: Tile Premium offers an enhanced finding experience with exclusive features like Smart Alerts, Location History and Unlimited Sharing. Available for a monthly or annual subscription ($2.99/month or $29.99/year). You can subscribe and pay through your iTunes account. Payment will be charged to iTunes account at confirmation of purchase. Your subscription will automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renew may be turned off after purchase by going to the ‘Manage Subscription’ page in settings. Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription to that publication, where applicable. The subscription will renew at the same cost. In the beginning I had problems with my Tile but after contacting customer service and getting everything straightened out I am very happy with it.
  • Great app... when it actually works

    By le_saltimbanque
Two times out of three the thing just does not work even when keys are out of sight but inches away. It’s a shame
  • Saves Time and Aggravation!

I would still be frantically searching for keys and tv remotes if it weren’t for Tile. Thank you, Tile!
  • Airplane mode: Annoying notification

    By matt57644
I put my phone into airplane mode every night and would love to disable this annoying notification about the Tile not working in airplane mode (so what ...) without disabling all notifications of this app.
  • Liked My Old Tile

    By Whynecessary
Upgraded to the new Tile with a battery and it is so “touchy”....it randomly goes off, even when my keys are in the ignition and nothing is touching it. Lately it’s been more frustrating than a help. That being said, loved the old one.
  • Can’t turn off find your phone on shared tiles

    By LiquideFeline
My wife’s phone chirps when I accidentally trigger find your phone. I disabled that on my phone and shared it to hers, but I don’t have the option to disable it on hers. Sad panda 🐼
  • Great app but I have an annoying issue...

    By picsaboo
There have been MANY occasions when my Tile unintentionally called my phone. Sometimes it caused me unnecessary embarrassment especially if I'm in a quiet room or in a meeting. When does this happen? Well, it's almost always a butt call - caused when my car key chain was "squeezed" in my pants pocket when I sat on it... But, oddly enough I usually have a very hard time activating a search for my phone when I manually press the Tile button and yet it sure works inadvertently when pressed by my butt😡!! So I need to know a way of turning off the call-my-phone signal even if it means losing this useful function. Please help.
  • It’s great when it works.

But it’s pretty unreliable many times. I’ve experienced lots of times when the tile does not make a sound when I ping it and then find the item two feet away. Also the button on the Tile is extremely easy to accidentally trigger. This triggers it to make unwanted chirping. I wish they would remove the button altogether or redesign it to be less easy to accidentally trigger. But I don’t think they’ll do this. I’ve written to Tile to complain about this for years. However, the Siri integration is really nice and the app itself is really nice. When the tile works it’s a lifesaver. Oh and I’ve gone through several tiles and they all experience the same about level of reliability so I don’t think it’s a malfunctioning unit.
  • Garbage

    By Eduardo-J
I’ve had my tile for almost a year and I haven’t had to use it until recently. I lost my keys in my house and couldn’t find them so i thought I’d use the tile app to “ring my keys”. I went into the app and used the ring button and the tile made no noise whatsoever. I walked by my keys multiple times without knowing it bc the tile app didn’t ring my keys or alert me that they where nearby. Waste of money.
  • Terrible connection

    By Ihateslitherio517
Anytime I need to use the tile it’s never connected, nothing I can do connects and, it’s basically worthless and I’m extremely disappointed.
