  • Sometimes Print is Better

I like the podcast but some stories definitely work better on the page. If the podcast isn't clear, I sit down and read the story.
  • Good content, terrible app

    By Cuencana
The magazine has excellent sci-fi stories and interesting articles but the MAZ app running under Apple's Newstand is nothing but frustrating to use. Issues that you buy are not readable unless you keep a wifi connection open. If you don't, the app rudely displays downloaded pages out of focus. What's up with that? The app has lots of useless bells and whistles for clipping images and text and sharing them via social media. But suppose you just want to READ the blasted magazine? It has just about the worst touch reader I have seen. Very difficult to turn pages, no ability set font size or select a prefered font, seems to be no more than a badly designed pdf reader. Skip this app and do NOT subscribe. You are better offbuying individual issues from Kobo and using a decent reader.

No way to tell if you have purchased an issue or not - all issues show a price and show the "Buy" key.
  • Wonderful worlds

A true gem that always shines. Between the brilliant stories and articles, the reader is never disappointed. And Kate Baker's lovely podcast supplements cannot be missed. Well worth supporting. A cherished joy.
  • Awesome podcast

Kate's voice is the greatest. Each week I look forward to hearing a quick story from here. It makes my week.
  • Just Seamless

The new app is just the amazingly simple and a seamless way for a Clarkes World Citizen to get their monthly fix Great Job and thank you
