This app is pretty great. The layout is nice and intuitive. It packs a lot of information cleanly in a small space on your iPhone. It takes advantage of the larger viewing area on the iPad really well. Appointment and Reminder creation is easy and works well. It doesn’t get 5 stars from me (there is no 5 star calendar app since Sunrise went away) because it doesn’t integrate Evernote Reminders. The Microsoft Outlook ios App is able to bring in Evernote reminders so it’s definitely possible. Unfortunately Outlook doesn’t integrate icloud reminders so that app is even less effective than Fantastical for me. Outlook is also a well done calendar app but Fantastical has the advantage both in function and with the pleasing layout.

I have this calendar on my iPhone and should have known better as that app took me time to sort out. This one is worse as it has more functions and same directions: none.
  • Full Month View

Can you create a full month view for the iPad and iphone like you have for the Mac? Then your app would be perfect.
  • Your quest for a Calendar app is over

This is the absolute best Calendar app out. The natural language input is so good that it makes using other applications like ToDoist really challenging. I have been using Fantastical ever since they first released it. I have it on my iPhone and iPad but not the desktop. I dont use my Mac as my work computer so I didn’t see the need to spend the extra money for the desktop. But if I was using Mac OS for my job I would for sure have it across all platforms.

Great app. Use it on all your devices. Seamless and intuitive. Was waiting for Watch update and now it is complete! If there’s a downside to this app I haven’t found it!
  • Very disappointed

After using Calendars 5 for quite a while, after reading many reviews about Fantastical 2 I decided to try it so I bought it. Since I was using my iPad i bought the iPad version. I played a bit with it and it looks promising. So I went to my iPhone to set it up just to learn that it didn't download. From there it didn't take much to understand that i needed to buy another app, for the iPhone...i started to miss now calendars 5 since the same app worked in both devices. Very disappointing. Would have liked that you would have indicated this more clearly before i bought it.
  • The most complete calendar solution

Fantastical 2 easily outpaces other calendar apps for ease of use, intuitive appointment entry, and stable platform. Reliably shares data with native apps, with the MacOS, and even with Outlook on a PC. Typically, I take advantage of the voice entry, which I find remarkably accurate. The most useful and well used app on my iPhone and iPad.
  • Size of the display keeps changing

The width of the hours (in the full screen week view) expands when you start to create an event, but they’re supposed to contract again once you’re done creating an event. On my iPad they keep getting stuck. I’m using Fantastical 2 with the Smart Keyboard attached to my 10.5” iPad Pro on iOS 12. Please fix this.
  • Still the Best

I’ve used Fantastical for several years now. It’s still the best calendar app, hands down. Color code your calendars, share a calendar with your spouse, syncs across platforms, easy to enter a new item. This is the one app I can’t live without.
  • Not useful for me

I've never been able to warm to this. If I can't see a monthly view, what's the point? Messy interface too. I suppose those who like it use their calendars differently, but I have no idea how. Calendar 5 works for me, or Apple's own. Update: The monthly view, such as it is, comprises a bunch of color dots. The calendar items themselves are then on the left. So not a true monthly view. Maybe that all makes sense on an iPhone, though I never got it there either. Here the app is just busy with lots of wasted screen space. Design? Meh.
