  • Best calendar app I’ve used!

There was a bit of an adjustment period to the input system after using the stock calendar app for nearly a decade, but once you get used to it it’s infinitely more simple. My fiancé and I have a newborn and each have our own work lives, so we’re constantly adding and changing calendar entries to accommodate appointments and such. The only improvement I can think of off the top of my head would be to have the ability to set default durations to specific calendars, like the length of a typical work shift.
  • great calendar app

I’d give it five stars, but for some reason the app lacks the ability to let you focus on one day at a time on the iPad version. So it’s great for organizing your work, but whenever you use the calendar you are going to also see what is coming up in the next couple of days. Most of the time I use a calendar I don’t want to see anything but the current day.
  • No convenient month view

I really like my calendar to open with a month view with no list of daily tasks. The original Fantastical allowed one to do this, at least on the iPhone. The only month view I can find on Fantastical 2 is on a black field, with daily tasks to the left and a daily calendar on top. That’s much too busy and unattractive for me. I’m trashing the app.
  • Has been my go-to calendar for years!

As pricey as this is, having complete sync between Macs and iOS devices, along with a great interface and the ability to import/export google calendars are some of the many reasons why I still use this as my go-to calendar over the native Mac/iOS calendars! Worth paying for to keep these guys in business. Thank you for a great, high-quality app!
  • Pain to use

Too fussy and unnecessarily complicated. Too many unneeded features make it a pain in the butt to use. I switched back to the original without all this annoying crap. Very poor instructions
  • Not very special

There was a sale for 3 bucks and since my old organizer did not work anymore on iOS12, I thought I'd change to Fantastical. Honestly though, I don't see what the fuzz is all about. It's a calendar alright, but not much more than that. It does not have a lot of customization options and I fail to see the big difference to the free Google Calendar app. I am not hating it, but I would be furious if I had paid the full price. Not really bad, just meh.
  • Get to coding...

So I’m not the only one whose calendar got spammed with fake, foreign holidays like diwali, kwanzaa etc. Assuming developers are correct in saying it’s Apple’s fault these unwanted holidays are showing up, how about a custom setting to exclude these? That would be a great selling feature.
  • Missing Detailed Month View

Unless there is a hidden setting, I am not able to find a month view that shows the items on their day. There is a month view that just shows dots representing events, but without clicking on the dots, you cannot see what the events are. Readdle Calendars5 and Google calendar etc both have a detailed month view that is useful at a glance. This omission is the only thing holding me back from being able to use this app only. At the moment I use Fantastical for entering data, and the others for consuming it.
  • Great app w/plain English smarts

Great app and the plain English parsing is great. Would love to have the option of manually adding accounts (Exchange OWA!) that we don’t have on the device for one reason or another.
  • Needs button to jump to current day

Can we have a user interface element to jump the current day? This is included in the MacOS version, but I don’t see it here. Sometimes I’ll scroll to different days, weeks, and so on, and it’d be nice to hit a single button that takes me to the current day.
