  • Poorly Executed

    By elogFermion
Does not improve on the previous version. The information is spread over several screens and is cumbersome to use. The driver video feeds are delayed about 15 seconds relative to the TV feed which is delayed about 15 seconds relative to the live race. The 30 second delay is terrible for an app that costs as much as this one. I am bitterly disappointed in FOM for providing a paid service that does not even come close to my expectations. I expect all timing information on a single screen and the video streams to have no delay relative to the live timing.
  • New Version designed by Non-users

While the previous version had some issues with decodability, at least almost all relevant racing information for all cars was up on one screen. So when the cricket-loving Radio Five Live guys’ audio cut out - which it does regularly and often - you could pretty much follow the race. Instead of fixing the real problems with the app, a complete redesign has drastically reduced the amount of information on one page, replacing it with bigger serif fonts, and a lot of the colour red. • don’t get this app

f1 timing data, track maps, driver location on track live useless. turn back to the earlier detailed information before this lousy update
  • v11. Where to begin...

I don’t know who is behind this app but the latest update is an epic fail. Not optimized for the iPad at all. All fonts are enormous and lots of screen real estate wasted. In the prior version I was able to pull up the race replay and actually see the full grid on screen. Here, barely half fits. Equally annoying is the fact that this app will spoil the race for you if you’re doing a replay after the fact. The old one let you set a no spoiler mode. No such thing in this app. I don’t know what they are thinking. Clearly the main use case for this app is to consume the latest news right now. Even finding the race replay in the app isn’t intuitive. It’s buried in several sub menus always right next to the race results. I’ll have to get creative for the rest of the season to avoid the results while still pulling up the replay. Guess they don’t want my money for next season.
  • You ruined the app...!!!

    By AlexEsc77
Now there is no way to follow a driver and compare his timing with the rest of the field... you are now giving the same info we have available on the tv broadcasts. Is there a way to go back to the previous version...??? If not, is there a way to refund our expense??? I would’ve never paid for this pice of crap...!!!
  • Bad

    By who aproved this
The latest update has taken a fully functional timing screen and replaced it with a confused jumble of oversized graphics with maybe five percent of the timing information viewable now. Zero stars
  • Useless

    By Miscifu
This “upgrade” is worthless to anyone who plans to use it as an add on to watching the race on TV either live or recorded. One star only because watching the videos is OK
  • Keeps logging me out

And live timing is terrible. Bring back the old live timing. The update takes away too much information. And live timing is the only reason to have this app.
  • Don’t spoil results, and bring back old app dense data

    By Bladedude
I bought this app for the ability to replay in sync with tv. SO DONT SHOW THE RACE RESULTS ANYWHERE ON THE APP, UNLESS I CLICK FOR RESULTS!!! Seriously in PST, can’t watch live, so always watch replay. Loved the dense data provided in the old app. New app shows about 20% of data on screen, and rest is bad GUI eye candy. Provide option to switch to old view. If no option for old view, I won’t buy app next year. And will pay race by race in case of another useless app update
  • Ruined by new update

What happened to this app??? The previous version was far superior. I have been a subscriber to this app since 2015. Why is there a separate F1 TV app? Needs major major work to justify the subscription prices.
