App Reviews

  • Doesn't update new content fast enough

    By Erilyne
It'd be nice if the app would update with new reading plans as they are available -- especially when people pay for them.
  • Getting better. Still buggy.

UPDATE: So glad the ‘mark as read’ feature is working after the last update. The issue I’m now having is with the ‘daily study reminder.’ I have it set for 8am because that’s when I sit down for my quiet time. The problem is that I get the reminder multiple times a day. 8am. 9am. 10am. 3pm. Etc...& they aren’t the 1st reminder popping back up. I’ll clear the 1st reminder & new ones pop up at odd hours. The badge reminder icon also shows a ‘1’ each time this happens. I’ve tried disabling and setting a new time, but it didn’t help. I finally just had to turn off notifications for SRT. Also, I am unable to leave comments. Or more correctly, they don’t actually post. I can type a comment or reply, but when I hit submit they just disappear. I thought there was a slight delay at first, but my comments just end up getting lost & never actually post.
  • Love the plans, but disappointed in their availability

I have been a SRT fan for years but have always struggled with the fact that most of the studies cost money. I understand they need something to keep them going but I am a firm believer that making the studies money makes SRT an inadequate online biblical resource.
  • Devotionals are Great but...

I directly access the She Reads Truth website for whatever the community is reading at the current moment. I enjoy the Bible structure of this app, but find it frustrating that in order to participate in the Community readings, I must pay $1.99 or whatever fee is charged. If the content is free on the website, why is it not free on the app? I understand other Devotionals costing, but whatever the community is reading shouldn’t be at a charge to the user.
  • Why????

    By Lizabell6703
I got through all of the first Hymns bible study fine but when I try to pull up day two in Hymns II, my whole app closes out. Why is this happening? I can’t do any of the Bible study’s at all now????

This app is wonderful and has kept me very on track, but it doesn’t work well with my new iPhone XR. I would love an update to fix this issue.
  • Disappointed

I was excited to see bible reading plans; however I wax really disappointed that you have to pay in the app and not online. Will not be using the app or the online version.
  • Lost all my plans with new version

    By KVO14
I’ve used SRT for over three years. I switched to another reading plan for a while and when I came back to the new version of the app, all my purchased plans were gone and I am unable to restore them. I’ve done all the troubleshooting and even reached out to customer service and was basically told sorry there’s nothing we can do. I can’t even buy new plans. Nothing on my app works except the Bible. This really stinks because I love SRT and the way the app used to be so easy to pick up where I left off. Sorry guys, but I’m going to have to find another devotional app that actually works.
  • Needs bug fixes

I would rate a 5 star but here is why I didn’t... in some of the plans there are scriptures that are repeated 3 times!! I like to “study” and write the scriptures but it would seem as if there are 6 but when I scroll it’s the same one repeated. My comments are not being recorded as they were the first two weeks I started this devotional. My photo does not show up either. There are amazing features on this app that just don’t work and I am also a paid subscriber so that’s a bummer as well. I don’t usually pay for apps if there are free options but I wanted to be able to utilize all the features so I’m paying for the free anyway. Don’t want to unsubscribe but if there are no fixes soon I must.
  • I Love It!!!!!!

I am deaf-blind and I am also the secretary for a biblical group. I can say that I am totally impressed with your app. I have been looking/searching for a womens bible for the ladies to study from in the ladies branch of our group. I have found that it has everything that I have been wanting, but lacked in other apps. I haven’t had any issues with navigation. On the contrary, it was worth paying the money for in order to get the full benefit of the app. thanks, again for coming to my rescue. God bless you all.
