DIY CCTV, IP Camera, Webcam App Description

*Most downloaded security camera app *Endorsed by 10 million families, including cops *Must-have for parents & pet owners *Favored by caregivers to help with their work YOU GET: -- Remote access: stream live video wherever you are. -- Motion sensor & instant alerts: always know when something happens. -- Free cloud storage : save and keep videos. -- Walkie-talkie: interact with family, pets, delivery man, or deter intruder. -- 360 camera : cover a larger area with both lenses. WHY CHOOSE ALFRED? UNIVERSAL Alfred is compatible with the majority of smartphones and tablets on the market. Did you get an iPhone X? As long as your devices run iOS 8 and up, it is compatible with Alfred. Your old iPhone, iPad, or iPod can have a fruitful second life and serve a new purpose! You won’t have spare gadgets gathering dust or going to waste anymore! Do you work behind a PC all day? Use Alfred’s WebViewer to stream video feed from your computer. VERSATILE Everyone wants to protect their loved ones and ensure their safety. You don’t need ADT or Simplisafe to do that. Unlike traditional CCTV systems, you can place Alfred anywhere and change as often as you want wherever you need to reinforce security. You don’t even have to buy a Nest Cam or Dropcam. Besides the cost of the equipment, these smart home appliances often charge a monthly fee. With Alfred, there is no complicated installation, IP settings, or contract. You only have to download Alfred to build a DIY home security system: pure and simple. Besides the capacity of streaming live feed of your home, Alfred keeps you updated on what is going on in your home with motion sensor and instant alerts. If you see an intruder, you can scare him away by speaking through the walkie-talkie and immediately notify the local authorities. The videos are kept safe in the free cloud storage, and they can be saved or downloaded as evidence to help identify the suspect. Alfred is an essential component of any home improvement project if you are interested in building a smart home or experimenting with voice assistants such as Google Assistant. Consider the following scenario: when holidays such as Christmas, Thanksgiving, and Black Friday approach, the number of parcels everyone receives increases. Unfortunately, so do the parcel theft cases. UPS tracking and Fedex tracking do not keep your precious parcels safe! If you check a crime map, you will see that burglary happens more often than you can imagine. How can you deter parcel thieves? Besides becoming part of the Crime Stoppers, you should make Alfred guard the entrance of your place and keep an eye on your property as well as purchases. ECO-CONSCIOUS Why throw away perfectly usable devices and buy more equipment when you can upcycle, recycle, and repurpose old devices? Everyone is taking advantage of their unused smartphones by turning them into a music player with Spotify, a GPS navigator with Google Maps, or a fitness device with FitBit. It can even become a Bitcoin miner, VR headset, or smart doorbell. Why not use yours as a security camera? Alfred Premium, a monthly subscription service, charges 3.99 USD/month (local currency may apply). It offers HD viewing, recording, as well as ad removal. At the confirmation of upgrade, the payment will be charged to your iTunes Account. The account will be automatically charged for renewal unless auto-renewal is turned off at least 24 hours before the current subscription expires. You can manage your subscription and auto-renewal by going to Account Settings. The features of Alfred Premium are associated with the account you use to log in to Alfred (not your iTunes account), and are available to all devices logged in with the same account. This app works as expected. Brilliant. What else can you ask for ? It’s also free. I used this 3 years back and started using again recently. I have a old smartphone installed in front of my house and I’m running this app to capture videos of people walking near my front porch.

  • Whom do you really entrust your home privacy?

My question is whom do you really think you entrust the privacy of you home video feed? The developers website, TOS, so-called privacy policy all is just the bunch of generic terms available online everywhere. There’s no address, no phone number, no email. The domain WHOIS info is hidden behind the privacy.. what’s up with requirement to only use gmail as login? Only to be able to get and share your personal info from your Google+ account. TOS: look at this site Terms of Service- they didn’t even bother to replace “comany_short_name” line with their count name. Right, who reads the TOS anyway these days?! App developer is named as “Alfred Systems Inc”, and the website “About” section shows “Alfred Labs Inc”.. I check California corporation registrar and NEITHER company actually exists! (And California is listed in the TOS as the state that governs access and use of the website!!) I would be very careful about this app. Beware!
  • Don’t pay for premium.

I downloaded this app and signed up with my gmail. I paid the cost for premium service. Once I paid for that I “invited” my husband to my circle by adding his gmail to view the camera on his phone as well. So, he downloaded the app and the app keeps telling him the camera is “offline 7007” but the camera is online, because I can see it is connected on my phone just fine. My husband contacted the company and told them that he is only able to connect under my email and that in order to connect to the camera on his phone- was to sign in under my gmail address and he didn’t want to do that. I surely don’t wanna share all my email with people I invite to view the camera. The bottom line is that we have discovered is if you want others to join in on your camera, then ya have to use one email account for different phones which is an absolute stupid idea. Yes I got screwed out of $32.00 but I won’t be renewing...next year...Alfred you need to make it to where people that get invited to join in- can view the camera to and so far... you have failed do that. Your ad is misleading- making it look like anyone can join in when they provide email info, etc... your app needs fixing..
