Sweatcoin - Sweat for Coin App Description

The AppStore №1 and top-rated for your Apple Watch, Sweatcoin app converts your outdoor steps into gadgets, sports and fitness kit, services and experiences. 5 Stars ► “Such a great concept and executed excellently. Gets me walking and rewards me for it too!” by Woo123789 “Basically pays you to move and exercise, and it costs nothing to use.” - Men’s Journal “The easiest way to make some side cash by doing what you already do naturally — walking.” - TheNextWeb “New UK health app Sweatcoin launched in the Apple app store this week and has been an instant hit.” - Forbes “New Apple app launches in Britain that pays people to get fit” - Reuters “The app that PAYS you to get fit: Sweatcoin rewards people for the number of steps they make every day” - Daily Mail “If ever you’ve needed an incentive to exercise, a new app could give you a much-needed boost to get active.” - Telegraph Sweatcoin converts your steps into currency units called, as you might have guessed it, sweatcoins. You can then spend them on goods, services and experiences on our market place with our partners or exchange them with your friends and family for whatever you fancy. The fitter and healthier you become the wealthier you get. Movement has value! And remember that continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. Sweatcoin uses your HealthKit step history data to continuously improve our algorithms and provide you with better offers at the right time.

It would be nice if it would/could hook to a Fitbit/ua band or a device like that.
  • Awesome but

I love this app but for some reason it says 1 sweatcoin equals 1000 steps it’s odd because when I transfer 1000 steps it only gives me 0.25 sweatcoins pls fix this also umm people saying it wants to find out where you are actually it counts motion try waving your phone in the air for maybe 5 minutes it counts steps sooo yeah it doesn’t ever know where you are accually it does count indoors if you run for a couple minutes or maybe 2 it will star counting so I would rate this 4 and a half if I could
  • Horrible conversion with update.

    By matt19842014
Not sure what happened with the last update. I was getting great conversion with the stuff so I was doing outside but now when I walk at least 2000 steps outside I’m getting maybe a fraction of what I was getting prior. This needs to be fixed and addressed. With the 2000 steps I was getting maybe $.25 and according to your Algorithm 2000 steps should equal a dollar. Please fix.
  • Could be great

Not very happy to be data mined and then screwed out of not only over half of my steps but I’m now unable to claim even the daily bonus. For the past 3 days it’s been “busy attending to other users”. So thanks for giving other users my bonus. That doesn’t even make sense. I will not upgrade if only 30-40% of my steps are going to be counted while you track my every move for free. Will delete soon if there is no update.
  • Fix!!!!!!

Getting screwed out of a lot of uncounted steps. Very unpleased and nothing worth spending coins on. I will delete if not fixed soon!!
  • Not sure what’s up

    By Ace KP
I love the app, the fact that I don’t really have to check on it is a plus 😂😂 but every now and then when I do check it sometimes says that I quit the app and lost steps when I know for a fact I keep it open. Even when I’m closing other apps I make sure not to swipe up on sweatcoin yet it still ends up saying I quit it. The only time I can say it makes sense is when my phone dies, otherwise it shouldn’t be quitting. Please fix this little issue, I’m sure I’ve lost over 150 sc because of it
  • Hmm

I like it. Very promising. I walk a lot so why not. However today it got a notification that the app/phone was shut down and lost steps. My phone is NEVER shut down. So that’s interesting... the app is ALWAYS open and active and still tells me it was shutdown. Why can’t it run in the background like Fitbit?!? Why can’t it record indoor steps...like...Fitbit?!? A step is a step. If your using the phone gps data it’s a no brainer. This is the only app Out of hundreds that I have used that requires it to be open all of the time. If you say you can use the iPhone health app steps then you should not need to be open. You should be able to do like fitbit and pull it in from the Apple Watch or the health app (when it is opened) on the phone and update your steps because they both have an accurate count of what is going on.
  • Thanks for the money

    Saving up for $1000 USD
  • Could Use Better Offers

There isn’t really a lot of options that are worth walking for.
  • Not What I Was Expecting

    By FatalEternity
Honestly the app is pretty good and is great at counting steps even without a fitness watch or anything and it adds up fairly quickly... I was expecting (from ads on instagram by other users) that there could be a direct payout to PayPal through this app. I was disappointed when I could not find one and the only offer for a PayPal payout was after 20,000 Sweatcoins. With this math, approximately 20 sc would be 1 usd which would also add up and it would be a much better app if there could be a direct payout. Although I understand the offers that sweatcoin needs to continuously run and be paid for it, there could be other ways of doing it. Like having multiple options for payout (including direct PayPal deposit) while possibly adding ads into the app which I wouldn’t mind, though I can’t speak for the rest of the population... overall a good app just not what I was expecting.
