  • I'm really impressed

MS 365 support is very good and includes categories. I fiund this app more powerful in handling calendar entris than the MacBook calendar and Outlook combined!
  • My default calendar app

If you use online calendars, this is a must-have app. You can enter your events by writing actual sentences, and Fantastical figures it out and adds it to the calendar of your choice. It’s an amazing program. It’s hard to justify the high price, but after years of use, I think it’s absolutely worth it.
  • Upgrades frustrating

    By JJ the DFB
I like Fantastical, it works the way I want. But there are nearly weekly upgrades, and Fantastical hasn’t figured out what literally every other application on my desktop has, how to program it to shut down and allow the upgrade to happen, then restart. Every time I get the alert that some upgrades couldn’t be installed; every time I need to shut down Fantastical, apply the upgrade, reopen Fantastical. I realize in the big scope of world problems this is small, but it’s really an annoyance, and it seems like everyone else has cracked this technology.
  • Um. Fanstasic!?

    By ilovesaintpaul
Really the only app out there I've ever rated at 5 stars. The nice thing about the company that produces this app is their customer support is truly phenomenal—fast, responsive, empathetic. The app itself is intuitive to use and uses common language to make calendar entries. I continue to use this app daily as it has streamlined my work and home calendar. Blows iCal out of the water! Get it; you won't be disappointed!
  • Outstanding, “every-day” utility completely replaces Apple Calendar

    By RBDelaware
I’ve been using Fantastical since its very first version, and it remains to this day my “use-it-every-day-all-the-time” ulitlity, on my desktop, laptop, phones and iPads. Fantastical’s best feature is its “plain language” ability to create new events. Works nearly flawlessly to parse dates, times and complicated recurring events (“first day of the month,” "second Tuesday of the month,” etc.). The user interface is excellent, even on small phone screens. Most importantly, this app is dependable, reliable. It syncs flawlessly with itself on all my devices, very quickly. Handles invitations from Outlook users well, and handles locations/maps well, too. Integrates smoothly with Google calendars and with Apple Calendar. Handles shared ICS event files flawlessly. If I have any complaint (a minor one), it’s that I’d prefer to be able to tweak my user interface a bit, such as enlarging text on the iPhone version, adjusting (‘toning down”) the app’s jarring red color banner, etc. The iOS version works well. I’m hoping the developers create a “shortcut” capability (other than Siri, which it already has) to allow users to enter events directly from the new Apple “Shortcuts” app, without having to open Fantastical on the phone. This is a first class app, made for people who use it - and depend on it - heavily.
  • Reminders do not sync with mobile app

    By Chris Jobe
This calendar app is super helpful with creating events with simple language. Makes a hectic calendar ten times easier. However, I have many to-dos i store in my reminders on my phone- while the calendars between my iPhone and computer work flawlessly, the reminders do not sync at all which was a total slap in the face after spending $39.99 on the laptop app. If you’re considering this app, I would get the much more affordable iPhone version and skip this one. Its simply not worth the money. If reminders would sync I would 110% take that back.
  • Im honestly amazed this isn't standard with OSX

    By Noctivity
I often forget that this is not a built in Mac app. This is a CORE app that I install on every computer. Not really sure how I would function without it. Opening the Calendar app seems very inefficient. Highly recommend it.
  • Great room-booking support

    By Drmartinsr
Our office has one of those systems where each room has a calendar and you invite it to a meeting and it accepts if it isn’t already busy. (Rooms never get to decline if they just don’t feel like a meeting, which seems a bit unfair.) As far as I’ve ever been able to get the Rube-Goldberg-contraption that is Outlook to work, I have to check each conference room one-by-one to see if it will let me use it for a meeting. With Fantastical I just start typing “CR_” (which all conference room calendars start with) and it shows me a list of every one in the system and if it is free during that time. This is killer and makes it insanely easier to book a conference room.
  • Couldn’t do without it!

    By Schmeezpd
I have had Fantastical for years and I have never had a serious problem. The app syncs to all my devices seamlessly. Their support answers promptly if I ever have any questions. I really think I would be lost without it. I have tried other calendars and have abandoned them after settling on Fantastical. Couldn’t give it less than 5 stars!
  • The Essential Calendar App

    By Dani_EG
I don't know how anyone gets by using the stock Apple Calendar and Reminders apps. I'd go crazy. Fantastical is perfect, especially with the gorgeous new dark mode.
