Before OS11(?) this was a fine dictionary. But I reinstalled in on my new iPhone and now it often hangs when I have an iffy connection. I may pay for the version with an offline (downloaded) dictionary but this is frustrating whenever I need a quick lookup

The app is fine, but paying for no ads and there’s an ad right in the middle of the home page is a little galling.
  • Well done

I should not have to pay for it again. This is stealing. Certainly not appropriate behavior for Oxford. We should only have to pay for this app ONE TIME Not matter how many versions you come out with. It costs you NOTHING to allow existing customers to get updates. Shame on you. You should make profit, but this is profiteering when you make this version not work for previous buyers. I'll be getting a different dictionary and just use Oxford when it's my trusted hardback Oxford dictionaries.
  • It's Good

I'm never been good at spelling, so this was just the ticket. I can plug in a few letters and search through the list of words to find what I'm looking for.
  • I purchased but still cannot get premium.

Most of the definitions seem incredibly lazy and insufficient. Also pretty biased to be honest, as if a radical leftist authored them. Really sad to see yet another good thing ruined by lazy, anti-intellectual ideologues.
