I like this app, it was good and help me a lot. But one thing. I couldn’t upgrade the app to premium. A couple months ago I had upgraded the app to premium. It had charged my money and became upgrade for a couple days, after that it went back to normal and keep asking me if I want to upgrade the app to premium. I was confused and don’t understand. $19.99 is not cheap. I don’t know how the app process also I don’t know how to check my purchased history and now it passed so many months already but everytime I try to use the app, I feel a bit upset. Please figure it out and let me know what can I do for this. Thanks.

It’s hard to read the definitions because it’s not well-designed. When you click the speaker icon to have the word read aloud to you, for pronunciation, it just gives you a pitch for the $20 paid version. There’s no indication that it’s not functional until you click it, so I’ve forgotten between uses a few times. Those tactics aren’t cool. I uninstalled it! I’m going to stick with Word Book, which is easier on my eyes to read and gives free audio pronunciation - no tricks.

While the design of the app and its features are 5 star, even after trying the app, then going away for 6 months, and returning: I find the daily word choice so low brow that I lose respect for the app—and the dictionary. With between 175k and 250k words in the language, could you choose dailies that respect your role as a preeminent reference? When I want to hear language in the mud, I sign onto Facebook. When I turn to the OED, I hope for enlightenment. Please do not appear ashamed of the dictionary’s pedigree or afraid of teaching the (possibly) unknown!
