This app has been well worth the $20.00 dollar investment and anyone who purchases the app before they go to a subscription has a lifetime paid pro subscription with all new updates, effects, filters, etc. that is actually the right thing to do and if anyone who owns a business knows that recurring income is a necessity to staying in business. Even though I’m sure polar makes a decent income off the ads that free users have to deal with. Either way I love polar and it’s functionality and ease of use.

I think you should make it so you can put the filters on videos, I think a lot of people would be interested because there’s a lot of phone editors that need some colorings for there video edits.

I've used this app several times. It does some nice things for your photos, but, the deal breaker is what every one seems to be doing these days, renting there software. Not everyone will be using this particular app every day for everything. This is not a "Go To" app. It's the kind of app you use here and there. To use this app only would be like limiting yourself given the fact that there are now full fledged apps that do everything like Affinity Photo, a force to be reckoned with. Imagine after this goes into subscription "mode" for some out there. It may end up costing you more then if you had paid a one time price for the above mentioned app. Again, paying a monthly fee for this app or any other app that just does basic simple editing is out of the question.

I love this app soooo much! It’s easy to navigate, and offers for so many filters, other editing tools, and so much more! I make a lot of fan edits, and this app is always my go - to!!

Sleek but powerful in a word. Quick bug fixes, including those on previous versions of iOS is AMAZING. It does lack some, at least free, features including dual exposure, masking and other region specific editing capabilities that competitors have. Oddly enough, there doesn't seem to be any way to completely delete edits, and a photo is marked as edited even if you only view it on the app. Overall, it has some quirks but I would recommend after using it for about a year

Whenever I add a filter onto a photo there is always a half circle at the bottom of it and I don’t know why. The original photo doesn’t have a circle but the filtered one does.

I am a bit of a photo editing app junkie, and had originally downloaded this app amid several others. I got so caught up in the other apps I didn’t spend much time and took it off my device. I noticed it on my cloud the other day, downloaded it and found exactly what I was looking for. Not only does it have the color modifying tools I was looking for (on most apps it is a paid feature) the filters are wonderful. I found the exact filter I was looking for to use on my Instagram, but I almost went with one of the filters in the Japanese photo set. It took a bit to figure out the navigation (and how to add tools to your tool bar) but I am so glad I took the time. I am not devoted to a single app, but this is now become one of my top three editors.

I would give 5 stars but a couple months back it was announced that Polarr would be switching to subscription later this year instead of remaining free (with a one-time purchase to use its full features). But I have been using this app for over a year now, I believe. I haven't bought the full version because the free features are all that I need. In the announcement it also said that only the users that bought the full version will be exempt from the subscription. I understand that you guys need to make money, but I can't afford to pay a subscription nor buy the full version soon enough to be exempt from the subscription. I really love this app. There's not a lot (if any) of free apps out there that have this quality of features. In the meantime I've been trying to find an alternative free app with features on the same level as Polarr, but I just can't. None of them can do what Polarr does for free. At this point I'm just trying to get the best/most out of it before you start charging the subscription fee. Is there any way at all to still keep it free and add some other features only available through subscription? I know it would probably be hard to figure out a feature that some wouldn't mind not having while also being worth paying a subscription fee for. I just really like this app. And I am too broke to be paying for digital products. Anyway, thanks for a great free app while it lasted.
